German Audio Tech RECEIVED DEFECTIVE CAR RADIO - STAY AWAY FROM GERMAN AUDIO TECH Long Beach California

This entire page is defamatory and fabricated. We were contacted by someone close to this guy, and he informed us that the author of all this negativity is a sociopathic nutcase with a criminal record. None of this makes sense. Our company was the victim of this person, not the other way around, they stole merchandise from us. I want this information off of the internet. Terrible

It is really sad that someone like "Normelyn Mahoney" can spam this website with a bunch of false information in hopes to ruin a business's reputation. Read what was written, they sound crazy, just like the screen-shot threatening/extortion emails they were sending to us. This buyer victimized us, not the other way around.

This buyer (Normelyn) stole (2) car stereos from us\ that we sold on eBay. The first they claimed it did not work but refused to return it to us. We believed her and mailed a replacement, with the understanding the first would be returned after replacement is received. Never returned our merchandise.

Tracking to her country cannot prove delivery (lives in a 2nd - world country), she knows this, so, once the replacement arrived, she immediately opened a dispute claiming not only was the first 'defective' which it was not, but that she 'did not receive' the replacement.

In messages, buyer admits to receiving replacement radio, and then extorts us in messages demanding that we pay her $250+ US Dollars to return this car stereo back to us.

In the end, the buyer was refunded for over $600 in payments, we lost out on our shipping and they are still in possession of our merchandise. Never returned anything to us.

See screen shots of their emails to us, and you can decide who is the victim. We have had over 1 Decade of positive transactions with customers in the Philippines. This buyer in the Philppines is the reason we no longer mail Anything to the Philippines. They ruined it for everyone else.

Who accuses us of many things that are not true. Unfortunately, we (German Audio Tech) are the victim of this buyer not the other way around.

This is what occured:

1) Buyer

• Normelyn Mahoney also known as NORMELYN GAY in PATAUEG, ISMAIL, Philipines 

She bought a Mini Cooper car stereo from us on Ebay. We tested this device, it was 100% working. Mailed securely. She made a claim after receiving it that apparently it was 'defective', which we can only trust she is being honest. So, she refuses to return the merchandise back to us for a refund, instead demands that we send a replacemend

2) As a GOOD BUSINESS we mailed (out of pocket) a second radio to the buyer, who then complains the second iwas never received (which she later admitted that she did actually receive it). At this point, the buyer then starts threatening us. Telling us all the bad things she wants to do to us in messages. It's attributes of a BPD (Bipolar Depressed) person, hell-bent on hurting others. We did nothing wrong.

3) She then opens (2) 'not as described" complains with eBay, and because we cannot generate return shipping labels for her country of the Philppines, eBay then proceeds to allow her to keep our (2) products, and did not require her to return either. We are then cheated out of the funds we paid to mail these to the Philippines, the products, AND proceeded to get a lot of harassing messages online. (eBay is aware of this scammer's behavior)

4) I will leave it up to anyone who reads what they wrote to discern what is real and what is false, but we were treated VERY disrespectfully by Normelyn Mahoney also known as NORMELYN GAY in PATAUEG, ISMAIL, Philipines. 

I encourage consumers to read all the compalints against German Audio Tech. Chris is proof of the old adage "It takes one to know one!" BMW Forum talks about Chris's probabtion officer imposed "Anger Management" therapy.

German Audio Tech's eBay Seller account shows multiple Neutral Feedback and 177 revisons for Negative Feedback. This means they convinced Buyers to revise Negative Feedback received to Positive Feedback. I left 2 Negative Feedbacks, which they conned me into accepting a revison. They said the Negative Feedback must be removed so that they could provide a refund or a return shipping label. I fell for their scheme as it appears other buyers were subjected to the same scheme. Thankfully eBay decided 2 cases in my favor and provided refunds. German Audio Tech is defintely not worth the aggrevation and does not stand behind their guarantee. 

eBay Seller account for German Audio Tech has 177 Negative Feedback Revisions, which means they conned Buyers into revising their Negative Feedback. They conned me too. Said I must revise feedback to Positive Feedback for them to enable them to provide a Return Shipping Label or refund.

Most of what he says are untrue facts. I bought first radaio from him on eBay and it was defective. He refused to provide an International Return Shipping label or funds for return shipping. This was reason eBay case was deceided in my favor and refunded. A second radio had been ordered to replace the defective radio. He never shipped the replacement radio, and refunded an hour before eBay decided the case in my favor.

He's made several untruthful and outrageous false claims against my integrity. He's threatned me saying he would report me to the nursing board for "my behavior." Funny, I''m not a nurse.  This bulls* has made me more determined to expose him.  I'm not a nurse! He's obviously found another woman with a similar name, deceided the person is me, and has stated I use an alias. Lol.

The guy is a sociopath, and a sociopathic lier. If you Google his name (Chris Cagnolattii) he is associated somehow in the world of "Golf." I think he's an amatuer player. eBay has prohibted him from harrassing me further. All of his futher attempts to harrass or intimidate me will be aggressively pursued. I am determined to expose him unless he stops his vicious attacks on my character immediately.

If not, he will become the subject of further complaints to Consumer Forums and will be exposed to members, friends and associates of the "Golfing World," and law enforcement.

I paid a premium for a "genuine" BMW CD43 head unit from them on Amazon. Afterward I saw a warning on here that they peddle Rover CD43's with M stickers on them. I amicably questioned them and they responded with the most vague divisive response and never answered when they were going to ship. They would respond with a one sentence absolutely ignorant response that would be vague and not answer any question. In one of the two responses they even said they did not know what a "sticker" is...  

I tried calling, tried emailing, the only response I ever received was through Amazon messaging where I learned they have a limited time to respond without any action taken. My guess it is to buy them more time. German Audio Tech might actually have things to sell and may actually do work for people but don't expect to have any confidence in their work (they don't uphold their "warranty" according to others) and in my experience their sales. I never received the radio nor did they ever ship it or even tell me that they had any intention of ever shipping it. I honestly believe they never had a CD43 to sell. If so, it was not genuine like their ad claimed...

I don't know how in today's internet world of businesses that these guys/this guy even stays afloat. I left a bad review on Amazon about them but I believe they know how to work the system and either get it removed or since they never sent the item, they can claim I'm not qualified for a review. I read on other forums they somehow have their bad reviews on eBay removed... But, that way they basically get a free $400 loan until the weeks it takes to get the money back with no harm to them...

Tl;Dr: I strongly advise you look elsewhere for your BMW audio needs, DO NOT use German Audio Tech. German Audio Tech is an untrustworthy, possibly scamming, shady business. Look around, there are plenty of other options.

I am responding on behalf of German Audio Tech. Anyone reading this can reach out to us and we can explain why Normelyn Mahone feels compelled to spew hatred online. The buyer has received (2) car radios from us which we refunded both in Full for them totalling nearly $500 and allowed them to keep the products sent. Why are they going to such great lengths to hurt us and damage our repuation? Maybe they are just crazy? Take what you read on the internet with a grain of salt. We try very hard to keep our customers happy, but don't appreciate people like Normelyn Mahone. This is not fair to us, considering she stole (2) car radios from us, $80 in our shipping expenses, and $500 in transactions from this Philippines buyer.

Feedbacks were removed due to buyer's policy violations on site. Also left feedback on transactions where the product was still in transit. Gamed eBay's returns system to hurt us. hank you,

Summary: I returned a radio to this company, and they received it, but there has been no communication from the company, & no response to my email..

Resolution Sought: Refund $175.00

Detail: Consumer alleges: I purchased a Mercedes Radio for 1995 SL 320 via eBay. It worked for a little while, but then failed and the company asked me to return it. I returned it on August 1, 2017. It's now October 12 and I haven't heard anything from the company. I don't know if they're going to exchange it or what?! When I call the company, their voicemail asks you to send an email to their support email address, but I have not received a response. They are not communicating with me at all about what they are going to do. At this point, I just want a full refund. They are not a reliable company.

Bought 2 items from him and both had issues. Not catastrophic, but annoying -- like the wrong button labels on a rebuilt computer. Was only able to program it after looking at the instructions and using the right positions rather than what was written on the buttons. Said he'd send replacement buttons. Nope.

While allegedly replacing the buttons, I agreed with him to send several cores along with another unit for repair. The repair was done correctly, but he has claimed he didn't receive the cores (funny, they were in the same box as the unit he did repair) and stalled repeatedly after I providing proof of delivery at his request. Stalled me past the point where I could still complain on Ebay. So, while this repair works, he ripped me off for $100+ in core payments.

Now, after past ebay/paypal complaint periods, he's unresponsive. He must just chuckle knowing that he screwed another one and there's nothing eBay will do about it.

Oh well, at least the pixels work.

Unfortunately, this person lacks integrity and has scammed us out of $500 + loss of (2) products merchandise.

NORMELYN GAY PATAUEG, ISMAIL also goes under alias NORMELYN MAHONEY from Valencia, Philippines has falsely claimed they received an item not as described. We informed her how to resolve the issue without returning and she then insulted her mechanic calling him 'stupid' and an 'idiot' because he lacks her education level and makes less money than her. Very disrespectful. We asked the buyer to return the item for a refund or exchange. As a good seller we had open communication.

Normelyn then decided to buy a 2nd radio from our eBay store. In messages being read and reviewed by eBay they act as a vicitm, but in direct emails to us they are very threatning, venomous, demanding and harassing. They then turned hostile and decided to manipulate eBay Customer Support to force a full refund while allowing her to keep the $250 car stereo. We thought this was the end of our worries with this scam artist. This lady, once she manipulated eBay to a full refund, she then sends us an email off-site laughing at us calling us fools and demanding that if we want our merchandise back that we should transfer over $100+ in funds to her through Paypal (extortion).

Then, several weeks later, we then receive a new (second) dispute from this woman claiming she never received the second purchase, which she did! Because USPS to her country of the Philippines does not have delivery confirmation she knew that she could steal this second item making false statements to ebay claiming she still did not receive it. We decided at this point that the best course of action was to refund this buyer to avoid a defect. Again, after we refunded this buyer we received an email from them off-site again saying, quote: "You dumb s*. LOL". They then send an email 2 days later saying that the radio they received (proving they lied about not receiving it), is now not as described and wanted us to Paypal her $156 + a $200 convenience fee + other fees.

This lady is stalking us online through social media such as Twitter, etc. and is a registered nurse in Valencia, Philippines. She lacks integrity and is constantly harassing us in email messages. This needs to be known, because no one with this lack of integrity and decency should be a nurse.

He is such a rip off. I have had my car back to Him three different times. The first go around was over $1100.00 For a simple radio install with amp. Two days later My car started smoking around the dash area, Radio and all electronics FRIED. So Now he says It was the cars fault, Bad wiring harness. But I had it checked at a BMW dealer and they said it was due to Him or His shop wiring the amp into the wrong circuit, It overloaded it and started the melting of wires . I did take it back to Him and it was there over a month. When I finally got it back the radio / amp only worked for about 1 week. No smoke this time but now the digital gauges and lights are going on and off. I have talked to the beamer dealer and one of the mec hanics siad He was willing to testify to the fact that the car had been wired wrong by the GERMAN audio tech guys . I have also spoken with them and I am going to have to hire a attorney now to ever get them to FIX MY CAR . THE RIGHT WAY !!
