Global Logistics & Transportation Inc, or Settlement Services Mary Adams On 12/18/12 rcv'd check for $2,277.69. Said I needed to call & speak with Mary Adams, clearing commissioner before check could be cashed, and I ws to receive a total of $80,000 from an unclaimed settlement Montreal, Quebec

On December 18th 2012, I received a check and letter in the mail. Company name on check is Global Logistics & Transportation, Inc. Only letterhead on letter read Settlement Services, 3040 Rosemont, Montreal, QC & Phone# 1 514 570 9041.
Letter stated their network system shows me as beneficiary of an unclaimed settlement in amount of $80,000. The check enclosed was for $2,277.69..however, before the check can be cashed, I was instructed to call their number, and speak with Mary Adams, the clearing commissioner, and I must pay a processing fee before my funds are released.
It seems more than a couple of other people have reported this same scam on this website.
