Grand Discovery  bamboozled us out of 3600 dollars plus on Dec 5, 2014.   They presented as  a "fabulous" trustworthy company in business helping with travel needs for over 20 years.

Initially induced into listening to their presentation with a promise of "free gifts - whether or not you sign up after listening to our presentation", my mate asked me to accompany him for the presentation.  We had fast talking salespeople showing us an array of glossy travel pics and many promises made.  Any questions were answered with "we can arrange that".

When reality set in was Jan 2nd, 2015, back from holiday blitz of activities, we decided to check on the "up to 50% savings" proclained at various hotels across the US and internationally.  Quickly became apparent the total fraudulence of the claims made.  We were able to get  approximately same price or LOWER with AARP discount  than the Grand Discovery "redeem" price found on their "IntercontinentalHotelsGroup " (www.ihg.com) website.

Once we checked further on the company's reviews it became crystal cleat this is a company that preys on the trusting consumer. They "specialize" in cleverly couched fraudulent dressed up promises to steal  the money of  honest hardworking folks who expect integrity from a business.  In return they give : nothing of value at all.  Just a series of cunning lies and misrepresentation.

We are in process of  demanding return of our hard earned money .

If they refuse we are prepared to file charges in court for a much larger amount. We will be filing a complaint with the State Attorney General of SC, filing online dispute with SC office of Consumer Affairs, the local PD for fraud, filing a claim with FTC for fraud.
