Unfortunately, the employer who wrote the reply to the complaint is lying BIG time. If the information was not accurate, then why would someone else agree to the complaint claiming they have experienced it themselves as well? That's not false info; that's truth. 

This is something you can believe on the internet as I have been a victim of this myself. It happened more than once & I was with them for a while so I have a lot of past events to speak from. I truly believe a few of the teachers enjoy what they do & have a passion for it; they are the ones that really go above & beyond for the students. Shanelle Gray will be the main source that will ruin the studio's reputation if she continues to treat their clients the way she does. It isn't right nor is it within the moral ethics. The complaint is true & it is accurate people.

This studio is runned by very greedy indiviuals, and they will tie you down in a contract. If you do leave the school they give you a hard time and threathen to hurt your career . They are so many other schools in LA that dont have a ego or tie you down . Also there showcase was a complete joke!

This "review" is a deceptive rip-off. It claims to have been reported by "Direct2Act – Los Angeles, California." There is no talent manager in Los Angeles – or anywhere else – called Direct2Act.

In fact, this "report" is a total fabrication written by a woman in Florida. Gray Studios is graciously leaving this woman’s name off the internet to protect her daughter (who is a sweet girl who wasn’t responsible for her mother’s deplorable behavior).

This woman enrolled her 16-year-old daughter, who had been referred to Gray Studios in Tampa, Florida, by Benz Model and Talent Agency (www.benzmodels.com), in a weekend-long intensive program. The cost was $300 and the mother provided Gray Studios a credit card for payment. The mother never signed a contract of any sort, because she claimed she did not have a printer and could not print one out.

After the woman’s daughter completed the whole weekend program, Gray Studios learned the credit card number she had provided was a fake. When the mother was contacted about this, she said she didn’t like the program and would not pay for it. Gray Studios told Benz Model and Talent what had happened. Benz was appalled that their client’s mother had been so unprofessional and dishonest and they immediately dropped the daughter as a client. The mother became incensed and posted this libelous, totally fabricated "rip-off" report in retaliation.

Benz Model and Talent Agency is a wonderful, respected, professional, SAG-franchised agency in Tampa, Florida. They consistently refer clients to Gray Studios for professional training. They are not paid any referral fees. What they – and their clients – get is wonderful training and experience that leads to increased opportunities for success. The "facts" in this so-called "report" are ridiculous lies. No students "are asked to pay a total of $650 or more per month for classes once a week." No Gray Studios student is ever required to sign a "6 month contract." Gray Studios does not have 6 month contracts. Nor has Gray Studios ever "pressured" anyone to "make the move to LA."

This woman – who defrauded Gray Studios with a fake credit card number and then refused to pay for her daughter’s classes – was not "terrorized." She was politely asked to pay for the program her daughter attended. When she refused, she was politely told her daughter’s agents would be advised of her dishonesty.

This woman has absolutely no information about the routine practices of Gray Studios in Los Angeles, Tampa or anywhere else, since her only experience with Gray Studios amounted to a single weekend in Tampa. The allegations that Gray Studios "consistently change the names" of the "BIG agents, managers, casting directors, etc." flown in to Gray Studios’ locations up to the day before "workshops" is totally false. This has NEVER happened. EVER. In fact, Gray Studios buys plane tickets for the Los Angeles area industry professionals that attend workshops outside of California at least 6-weeks in advance. No last minute "bait and switch" ever occurs.

The bottom line is that Gray Studios has a stellar, well-deserved reputation. It’s programs are first rate and the success of its many students is extraordinary and well-documented. Most of Gray Studios’ students are referred directly by managers and agents all over the country. They put their own reputations on the line when they recommend Gray Studios. They do this again and again, month after month and year after year, because Gray Studios helps actors get cast. And, when actors book jobs the actors get paid, their managers and agents make money, Gray Studios gets more referrals, and everyone winds up happy.

Sadly, the real RIP OFF here is this FICTIONAL rip off report. As we said, YOU CAN’T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE INTERNET.
