greatertorontomovers.com aka Toronto Movers Omega are a real scam.  They go by many different comoany names.  Some of the names are listed on the title of this article.  Their customer service person on the phone quotes a cheap price (45/hr)with 2 movers+truck (all-inclusive).  However, in the middle of the move, they charge double the amount and of you do not pay they say that they will not move your items.  The real problem is that your stuff is in their truck and you are held almost hostage until you pay.  We almost had to pay $1100 dollars for what should have been an easy three hour job. They also work really slow in order for you to pay even more money.  Moreover, they threatened my elderly mother into paying the money.  Just imagine, bullying an elderly lady into paying $1100 in cash.  These guys should be in jail.  How can these guys operate in Toronto?  This company usually employs East-Indian (Desi) guys as movers.  No offence, but they looked like high school kids and they complained about everything during the move.  They even charged extra for moving items like tables and sofas.  They were going to charge extra for minor furniture dis assembly.  Keep an eye out for these movers.  They put good, honest, hard-working East-Indians to shame.  This moving company's owners should be arrested.  Their phone number is 416-356-8774 or 647-839-6965.
