Greenway Express mover are nothing more than a complete scam. First they contact you to provide you with a price that is so much better then the competition you think for that kind of money I will give them a chance. I had 6 or 7 reputable moving companies physically come into my home to give me an estimate for the move and packing of our belongings and everyone was within 200 pounds. According to Greenway they were all off by about 3000 pounds- no delivery of our home furnishings without another $1200 cash (original cost was $2300).The truck they brought was a rental and too small which was our first red flag.Had to throw some stuff out and fill both our cars to the brim with the other stuff (1100 miles away). This is when the nightmare really begins. We drive to our new home in Westfield, Indiana and was told that our delivery was the only merchandise going North and we would have our things in 2 to 3 days since they could only drive limite miles a day.  They picked up our home furnishings on Tuesday (it took them 2 days to pack our house up because they were short men for the amount of items required being packed and loaded).  Contacted them on Friday to find out their status and we were told that they were still in Houston without any real concrete reason.  We then asked if they could hold our stuff until Monday because we had a problem with our closing.  Our salesrep, Mark, told us that they wouldn't be leaving until Monday anyways and that our furnishings were still on the same truck, but that they would need to put them on a bigger truck to accomodate the new pick up.  We asked that they contact us prior to Monday if they needed to get on the road.

They arrived 10 days later and we contacted them everyday to find out the status, but only to receive a different answer every day.  When they arrived there was only one person on the truck and was suppose to have been met by 3 other helpers.  Of course, they didn't show up so he said we can try again tomorrow.  They showed up the next morning and began the task of unloading, but not until the certified check that I had was converted into cash only.  None of our boxes were labeled so we were not certain what rooms they needed to go into so most of them remained in the garage.  We paid for a full move which includes all assembly, yet the 3 helpers all left once the boxes were unloaded and we were left with just one man.  He put together a few things then stated that he was going to go for lunch only to never return.  The damage was substantial as well as the amount of items that were missing.  They left the moving blankets all over the garage and driveway.  I called the company to inquire when their mover would be back to finish the job and he responded, "As far as we are concerned, the job is complete."  Therefore, I was not able to sign off on the inventory list because I never saw one and the boxes were not labeled nor the amounts of boxes they had packed.

Those looking to get scammed and or ripped off should go with Greenway Express.  It's an experience that one should never have to go through!!!!
