Hariox Customer Metrics Actionable Intelligence Delivery Offered me a mystery shop job, but sent me a fake check and told me to deposit the check and go to the nearest best buys and purchase multiple gift cards. San Jose California

I was contacted through email by a company called Hariox Customer Metrix with a link to their website. I clicked on the link, and it took me to their website where I filled out an application. Two weeks later, I get a text from a George Sanon the hiring and evaluation consultant for this company, telling me that my application has been approved and that a survey assignment packet is being mailed to my home.

I then go out to my mailbox and sure enough, there is the packet. I then text Mr. Damon and tell him I that I have the assignment packet.It was sent to me via USPS  priority mail.I open the packet, and inside is a fake cashiers check for 1,900.00 and a survey from with instructions to purchase 4 store gift cards for 1,600.00.

When Mr Sanon first texted me, I decided to Google his number. I do this all the time anyways because I get a lot of robo and solicitation calls. When I googled Mr Sanon's number it turned up on several websites as being connected to a mystery shop scam.

If you ever get an email about a mystery shop job. Just delete it, because it is a complete fraud. I am just thankful I caught on to it before I received that d**n packet!
