I purchased two puppies from "Home Raised Shibu Inu Puppies" at a total of $1,700 with was to include shipping and vaccines.
The only payment they would accept was through "Zelle".
We were told the puppies were delivered to "Happy Tails Logistics" for shipment and delivery to my residence.
After the questionable delivery to the Happy Tails Logistics, we were subjected to several large charges that were not part of the contract we agreed to. Shipping and delivery were included in the original contract.
Because of the large amount that Happy Tails Logistics wanted to charge, ($1,800 for air conditioned crates and $1,250 for vaccines) we attempted to cancel the order due to breach of the contract.
After notifing the breeder that we were canceling the order, they would not respond to e-mails or phone calls.
I believe the breeder and the shipping company are working together on this obvious scam.
