On May 17, 2012, I came across the number to hotelmode.com as I was looking to book a Vegas trip for the end of July. I spoke to John who provided me with a reasonable quote for a two nights stay (July 27-July 29) at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. I decided to book the trip in which John went forth with informing me of the cancellation policy of no penalty if canceling 7 days prior to the reservation. I then gave John my credit card information and no other conversations were had regarding policy. Later that night, I came across a cheaper price than the $1400 I was quoted. It was that same night, two and a half moths prior to my reservation, that I emailed hotelmode.com stating that I would like to cancel my reservation for a refund. I then begin to receive harassing phone calls from a lady named Jacqui. Jacqui angrily stated that she would not provide me with a refund but a credit. I kindly told her that I was never informed of this policy by John. She then stated that the policy is written on the credit voucher that's issued AFTER the purchase. I informed her that it was not ok to tell a customer a policy after the fact. She then says, "it's 11pm in New York, are you canceling or what?" Appalled by the service I received, I asked to speak to a manager, she then informs me she is the manager. I then asked to speak to someone above her, she then said that there isn't anyone above her. I asked her if she was the owner, she then responds, "I'm something like that". I then told her that even more so I would not like a credit so that I would never have to be treated by her like this again...that's not the way you treat a customer! The call was then ended.
So basically, I'm simply requesting a refund and not a credit.
A $1400 credit is ridiculous and I assure you that I would have never booked if I would've been informed of such policy prior to booking!!!

I booked a vacation on hotlemode.com and I found out about a month after I booked my hotel I couldn't go anymore due to death in my family!! Well I tried and tried to contact these people and the phone kimberly they have on they website isn't GOOD at all in no way form shape are anything..So I went back to they website and seen a email address of you like to cancel and remember you have up to 7days before your trip to cancel well I cancel my trip a month in a half before my trip,, So I did get a email back which it was very rude and ugly and the man John said they not doing any life refunds and for my to have a f**king great day and that was it. Well it than been 6 months now and still no refund my 1400 dollars went down the drain from people that was working at 1800 Hotel and was scamming people on that sure while these are the same people that is running hotelmode.com. Right now I got the local police and the FBI and they filially got back to me and told me they got some of the people behind this scam but working on getting the rest before they put a arrest warrant out on them. Nothing about these people are real at all and I'm dumb because this the first time I did something like this I always call numbers before enter my credit card information and this time I didn't do what I always do and look what happen to me because I didn't do it. Oh they will go on your bank account and draw more money out I really feel sorry for all these people that gave these people that card information and didn't change it yet I just hope you don't get your kidney from your job going to your back because they will have this to and for some of you it's not to late, just call you bank are your credit card company and let them know you have on unauthorized charges on your account you just seeing and you want to dispute the chargers on your account and let your bank and everything deal with them and trust me this will help even more when they make the arrest on all these people that's on it,, I couldn't believe my eyes when I seen a picture of some of these people that doing it, like some if them not thinking about they kids and it got old people that's doing it to and they all are family that's in it so please be careful everybody, I have the name of the-merchant they are using if anybody want it please let me a message but on Monday they will be getting a called to stop using there people to run people credit card and etc because they a big fake and a scam! If anybody need more information I can let you talk to my my dad that's a FBI and he can help you with your case with HOTELMODE.COM. JUST LEAVE ME A MESSAGE AND TOU DONT GAVE TO LEAVE TOUR REAL NAME BUT THIS NEED TO STOP THESE PEOPLE WENT FROM ONE WEBSITE TO THIS ONE HOTELMODE.COM STEALING HARD WORKING PEOPLE MONEY TO BE DRIVING BMW'S AND THINGS IN ETC, MY DAD MENTIONED HIS PARTNER IT IS A FEMALE BUT HOW MY DAD BE TALKING ABOUT THIS AGENT SHES GREAT AT WGAT SHE DO HER NAME IS MRS SHANNA I DONT HAVE A LAST NAME BUT I DO HAVE MES SHANNA EMAIL ADDRESS I CAN SEND TO THISE WHO WISH TO TALK TO HER ARE MY FATHER,THE REASON I AM SO MAD BECAUSE I HAVE A FRIEND THAT LOST HIS MOM AND GRANDMA AND AUNT ALL IN ONE YEAR AND HE GETS SCAMMED OUT OF 2,400 FROM HOTELMODE.COM!HE IS THE REASON MY DAD START LOOKING INTO THESE PEOPLE BECAUSE HE TOLD MY FATHER WVERYTHING THAT I AM SHARING WITH YOU GUYS BUT I WILLNT SAY HIS NAME BECAUSE HE DONT KNKW I AM POSTING THIS ABOUT WHAT HAPPEN WITH HIM WITH HOTELMODE.COM!
