Iconic Real Estate Ionic Real Estate On Target Apartment Rentals Ashkan (a.k.a. Harassed, Threatened, and Scammed from Rent Application Fees Tarzana California

***WARNING*** Ashkan (a.k.a. "Ashton") Derakhshan is a scammer, liar, and a sociopath. He is also dangerous, unprofessional, and he will tell you anything to convince you to start his application process and pay the application fee. He will use the information on the application form to threaten your livelihood. I met him almost a year ago and had to wait till now to post this because he knew where I lived, worked, and had all my private information from the application form. He will see this post and try to harass me, or respond to my review like many other reviews where he says an audit was performed by BRE and how they found his "operation within their guidelines" when in fact he has been contacted by several auditors in the past and repeatedly hung up on them. In addition, he has multiple violations under the Real Estate Law. All facts and information provided here are either from my interactions with Ashkan or have been recorded by BRE and can be read online (link provided below in #4). I have reported him to the FBI, DRE, and BBB. I can never forget how horrible he treated me and my friend, saying he will "destroy" our credits and gave us "48 hours" to remove our reviews or else he will make us pay "$150/hour" to remove the reviews himself. It's completely unacceptable and immature behavior coming from a grown man. So I want to help warn everyone to immediately run before contacting him.

1. His license was revoked early 2018. So he is resorting to cheap business cards and a blog website (https://iconicre.com/) to trick people into thinking this company is legitimate.

2. He is a one-man show. He pretends to talk on behalf of the company but he literally is the only person under IRE.

3. Feel free to fact-check at the official DRE website for Real Estate Business Address Lookup - http://search.dre.ca.gov/addresslookup/

 - Type in the address he has on his business card = 19528 Ventura Blvd Tarzana, CA

  - You will notice "Suite 710" from the business card does not exist on DRE's website. It turns out to be a UPS mailing store and Ashkan was/is in violation of a failure to maintain a definite place of business.
