Jim Koufos agreed to provide new cabinets and remodel my kitchen.

He was paid $3200 to purchase the new cabinets, he told us to remove wallpaper and trim, and to empty our existing cabinets prior to the remodel.

Koufos delivered open box cabinets and left in a hurry, saying he would return the next day as per our $7550 remodel contract. 

Koufos never arrived to begin the work, and has never responded to many attempts to contact him by phone and email.

Upon inspection of the open box cabinets, they were all found to be heavily damaged, with broken pieces, missing parts, heavy scratches, mold, and filth.

We paid for NEW cabinets and received broken useless junk from a no show contractor.  

We have a lot invested in new appliances and floor tile as well for this project just prior to Thanksgiving, but our kitchen is a pre-constuction mess for the holidays thanks to Koufos.

There are other complaints on Koufos on the Better Business Bureau.

He has also stated that he will not pay his workers, and his wifes car gets flat tires. This Koufos steals from many. He will be relocating to Florida fom New Jersey in 2014. Avoid this weirdo like the plague.
