I received a letter in the mail from Ralph Sorrentino from Jim Ellis Buick GMC in Atlanta Georgia stating that my lease was almost up and they were looking for 5 2016 GMC ACADIA. I spoke to Ralph and I explained to Ralph Sorrentino that my lease was almost up and I was over a lot by the mileage. Ralph then states to me :dont worry about it and we will take care of it". On February 22, 2019 I wne tt o go meet with Ralph Sorrentino at Jim Ellis Buick GMC Dealership in Atlanta.

My credit was not too great and he told me to not worry about it he will get me approved. I explained I only had $500.00 to put down.

I spent over 7 hours at the dealership that night and at the end of the night the Finance Manager, went back into Ralph Sorentino office to let him know the deal was messed up and the numbers were incorrect on the finance fomrs and deal.

Nicole the Saleperson showed e two vehicles. I chose one with a sunroof not a dvd player.

Ralph Sorrentino told me that I was all set with the overmileage and the dealership was eating or taking care of the money for the mileage that was owed from the lease for my 2016 GMC Acadia. Then another time he told me the balance for the mileage was roled over into the ne loan for the 2019 GMC Acadia

The next day when I picked up the vehicle, Nicole the Saleperson gave me the wrong vehicle. I was pissedoff. She and Ralph tried to convince me that I chose the vehicle with the DVD player. Which I did not choose.

I went into the building and and Ralph and I got into an argument and I told Ralph I wanted to cancel the contrac tbecause this was not the vehicle I had chosen. He then tried to assure me that he would fix it by the dealership paying for a sunroof on their dime.

I  brought the vehicle back the follopwing Monday and a sunroof was installed into the 2019 GMC Acadia. A month later I received and alert from Eperian Credit Bureau that I owed GM Financial over $11,000.00

GM Leasing Department and  I spoke and they told me the delaership sold the vehicle at auction and stuck me with a balance. After speaking to GM Finacial Leasing deprtment they hekped me to file a complaint with GMC Corproate for fraud against the dealership

I then contacted Wesley Ellis, the VP of Jim Ellis Auto Group and after going over the contract and speaking he admitted that the mistake was on the dealerships part and he would fix or resolve this issue for me and they should have never sold the vehicle at auction and stick me with a bill for a deficiency balance.

Mr. Wesley Ellis then told me Chris Whiten would be contacting me to ge this resolved as he was going away on vacation til next Thursday.

Chris Whiten contacted me and told me he was giving me the only option of binging back the new 2019 GMC Acadia and refund me my $500.00 down payment, the $300.00 for the remote stater I paid for, and the first  payment that I made to Santander Bank for the new loan.

Chris Whiten went as far as trying to convince me that the balance owed was for the mileage on the 2016 GMC Acadia lease, which was not so the case.

I felt like he was threatening me that if I didnt turn in the new vehicle that I was getting no other deal. I declined his deal which was a scam and exploitation and very unacceptable in every way.

I wrote an email back to Wesley Ellis and several others informing them of what was happening. The delearship is responsible for the $11,000.00 owed to GM Financial and Mr wesley Ellis is trying to not do the right thing by taking care of it. They are trying to scam me.

I am a single mother with two children, one which has Autism Spectrum Disorder and it is very important that I have a vehicle at all times.

I am seeking help and would like the public to be made aware of that I was scammed. I cannot afford two make two car payments.

Jim Ellis bucik GMC SCMMED ME AND THEY OWE GM FINACIAL OVER $11,000.00

Let Me Guess...

Why are all the finacial terms being discovered AFTER the deal was consumated? ALL those terms would have been disclosed in the contract YOU signed and YOU agreed to. Let me guess...you didn't even bother to read any of it before you agreed, did you?

Secondly, why are you even messing around with a CAR FLEASE? Oh yes, you think it was such a fantastic deal because of a low monthly payment, right? It was a good deal...no, a GREAT deal...for the dealer! Finally, you being an unwed mother and having an ill child have NOTHING to do with this so don't try to play those sympathy cards.
