I wish I would have read the following comments before I accepted to go to work for Joe Percario General Contractors.

On November 18, 2008 here is what the user "just an old friend" had to say on the Merchant Circle website "joe is a liar a cheet and a thief, who thinks of nothing stealing from his customers and employees, and burns through them like gas on a fire......"

Reading these comments before getting hired in Sept 2009 probably would have saved me working many extra late nights and weekends getting Joe Percario signed construction contracts by homeowners.

I was hired as a Project Manager to manage projects that Joe provided and to make extra money and to make ends meet I brought Joe a construction contract for over $200k for an addition that the customer was a personal referral to me prior to me even working for Joe Percario, with the promise that I would recieve a 10% commission for bringing the job to into the Joe Percario Organization. I recieved $00. sales commission for this project to date. I also was  recieving split commissions on contracts I assisted other Joe Percario Sales people close and all commission payments came to a screaching halt upon my termination of project manager in May 2010. Although I have not hired an accountant yet to add up all the commissions that have been paid and what commission is still owed I figure it has to be aproximately $30-$50k Dollars.

Despite the dozens of emails and certified letters I have sent Joe pleading with him to pay me, he has chosen to ignore to respond to my communication or make any good faith payment of the same.

In good faith I have been patiently waiting for the projects to be completed in full by Joe Percario and his team, hoping that once he has been paid by the customer he would pay me for my service I provided for him. To date I have not heard from Joe Percario regarding the money he owes me and when he will pay me my last couple weeks of back wages and outstanding commissions from sales.

If anyone has any suggestions of the best way to go about resolving this matter, please feel free to reply to this post.

What was the outcome?

Considering their lack of response, at the least you need to be suing. You might even have filed in small claims court to get things started at minima expense. That way, even though there's a limit, you get them in court and talking.

If you have proper evidence of the contract commision that was agreed upon and eveidence of each contract job that you brought in, then it should be an open and shut case.

So, how was it resolved and did you also file with the BBB?
