Jon Oswell Sentinel Campaign, Jon Oswell Sentinel hired to do Concrete floor and failed caused considerable damage He was paid and refuses to return money, Long Beach, California

Sentinel Campaign was hired May 2010 to do polished concrete floor in custom home, In Beverly Hills, he didn't know what he was doing, Job was to take 3-4 weeks, after Jon Oswell and crew caused $1,000s in damage to other trades that were finished, ie. Paint, Cabinets, Sandblasted Travertine Fireplace, Walls, floor never dried, you would stick to it if you walked in stocking feet, it was easy to scratch with fingernail, rough uneven sheen, roller marks, sandy feel, Dust particles, Chatter Marks. It was not up to industry standards.

Not to mention they monopolized the job for the 3 month period and were paid 70% + of a $27,000 contract. In August 2010 I terminated his contract in writing. We were afraid to let him back in the house they were like bulls in a china shop. The entire floor 3000 sq feet had to be removed back to it's original condition. Now we are trying to get him to return the money along with Damage and removal cost. I have filed complaint with California Contractors License Board and am awaiting the results of investigation, I have also filed claim with Sentinel Campaign Liability Carrier.

Perhaps next step is a law suit.

In closing I wish I had looked him up on this website prior to hiring, I have made it a practice to do so now.
