I engaged this individual via Houzz website. He completed a new patio and was supposed to put in a buried water drain taking the gutter runoff away from the wall on the patio. Sure enough, first hard rain I had a lake in my yard.

I contacted Jose by text and he told me "no problem, I am back in town on the 10th of November, I will contact you then." The 11th rolled around and no word. So I called only to find out (from Verizon) Jose blocked my telephone number.

His unfinshed job cost me an additional $300 and it looks like additional work will be required with the drain. Beware, this contractor uses fake addresses and I have 2 different emails. I took pictures of this lowlife and have photos of the mess he left at my home and his text messages saying he would return for repairs.

I now devote one day a month warning other homeowners to think twice before hiring him. Not only did he not honor his contract, he is thumbing his nose.
