K & R Enterprises , Kirby, Carpet cleaning fraud Lewiston, Idaho
*UPDATE Employee: Don't Need/Want it, Dont Buy it
This company is a fraud. They run a misleading business saying, "let us clean your carpets for free as long as you tell your friends about us". Then they show up and proceed to merely demo their $2800 Kirby. "Oh, and if you buy our Kirby, we'll take your Dyson off your hands." Do not allow these people into your house.
The two people who came were nice, but EVERYTHING I was told on the phone when they cold-called me was false and/or fraudulent. I expected to have my carpets cleaned, but all this was was a sales pitch for a vacuum I don't need or want.

#1 UPDATE Employee
Don't Need/Want it, Dont Buy it

The customers are told during the call that it is the Kirby office calling and are offered and given a free carpet shampoo for any room of their choice. At no point is there any attempt to hid e the fact that a kirby is being used or that it is kirby calling. If a person asks when they are called if the products being used are for sale they are told that they are in fact for sale. Yes you have to listen to a sales pitch when they come but an hour of your time in exchange for a free carpet shampoo doesnt sound bad to me. If someone chooses to purchase the product their current vacuum can be traded in to get a discount on the price (just like with buying a car) if you dont want to trade in your 'dyson' you dont have to, you just wont get that discount on the price. To me it seems like a pretty good deal. What other opportunities do you have to get to try out a vacuum, air compressor, sander, massager, and carpet shampooer in your home before youbuy? If you dont like/ need what they are showing you when they come, get your free carpet shampoo and dont buy one.
