Kattia Jimenez and I sold real estate together. I would find the buyers and sellers. She would handle the closings. When she brought the buyer and I brought the seller or vice versa, we would split the commissions 50-50. 

One day she said she has a client looking for a house to buy and I said I have the perfect home for sale so we went to see it. The homeowner was my client and the buyer was her client. We showed the home to her client together. Her client made an offer and the offer was accepted but Kattia told me that the offer wasn't accepted. Later I ran into the buyer and he told me that he had purchased the house we showed him for $310,000 USD. He also told me that he paid Kattia a $15,000 commission. A few weeks after we showed her client the home, I asked her if he bought the house and she said NO. She lied to my face. When I confronted her and demanded my money, she said that it was all hers because she taught me everything. That was her reasoning for lying and stealing my $7500.

Do not do business with Kattia Jimenez Chavarria or her company Costa Rica Realty. There are several other people that she has ripped off and they will be adding to this report. Kattia Jimenez calls herself a realtor and has several vacation homes that she rents to tourists. Several of these people have been ripped off by her.
