Answered this guys ad on Craig's List. He is looking for employees to call companies and offer them CPA services based on the guise that is is about the PPP loan forgiveness program. You then refer them to him and he sells them and then farms them out to a local CPA (completely illegal being KC Truby is not licensed as a CPA in any state in the United States.
I worked for him for one week and decided it wasn't for me. KC Truby seemed overwhelemed at the amount of calls he was getting and clearly was not organized enough to deal with any actual quantity of leads. KC Truby responded to me via Skype and asssured me I would be paid.
Payday rolls around and I don't receive my payment as promised. His wife Linnea Truby is his "bookkeeper". You can look her up online and see the 20 or so different businesses "she" has been affiliated with that have failed. No deposit. I then reach out to KC Truby via phone and he explains they aren't paying me because basically they don't feel like it.
KC Truby acts like a good old boy that is a highly successful businessman. If you take the time to look him up however you will find that he has had over 20 businesses he has started that have failed. He is a scam artist that will not pay you what he owes you.
LONG STORY SHORT IF YOU GO TO WORK FOR THIS GUY HE WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR WAGES.

On the 2nd day he attempted to rig our auto dialer to do fake calls and get paid for them. When he hit 1,000 numbers dialed in the first half of his shift my IT department looked into it and terminated him immediatly.
He threatened my family if I did not pay him for the 1,000 calls. We turned it over to the FBI, we have not heard back from them. I doubt if it was a big enough deal for them to get involved in.
