Kelly Smith "Version Wireless" Calls and tries to get personnel information. Nationwide

    "Kelly Smith, Verizon Wireless" BEWARE!!

    I am recieving calls from this number (866-377-5027). When I answer a computer voice comes across the phone stating "This is Kelly Smith, I have and important announcement for ________ ______, if this is _______   _______, Please press one." When a live person gets on the phone they state they are from Verizon Wireless.
    When I actually wait to see what they want, they ask me to verify my address and social security number to recieve the information they are calling about. Once I asked, why do you need my information? The woman on the other end became hostile, raised her voice, and snapped: "MAAM, PLEASE VERIFY YOUR ADDRESS AND SOCIAL SECURITY!!" I said "Not untill you tell me what this is all about!" She then screamed into the phone "FINE - I WILL JUST TELL THEM YOU REFUSED TO COOPERATE!!" and promptly hung up on me. When I call this number back, it is always a busy signal.
    This company calls me  3 to 6 times daily, always with the same line. I do not nor have I ever had Verizon Wireless. I contacted Verizon who stated they have no knowledge of the telephone number being a representative of their company. I also have a cell phone company with no contracts, with whom I buy monthly cards from, so that I do not have to register my name with them. I called them also, and they also state that phone number is nowhere in any phone company registry. 
    This company is trying to obtain personnel information from the people they call. They are a nuisance and will not stop calling no matter how many times I tell them to. I have registered with the "National Do Not Call Registry", only to continue to recieve these calls. I fear a person, like an elder,  with no knowledge of these scams will give them the information they are looking for and in turn become a victim to these people.
