Landmark at Lake Village North Apartments ( Milestone Management) Black Mold Garland Texas

When I moved into this apartment it was 749.00 a month that was in January of 2015 and now I am paying 1087.00 with no upgrades to the inside, just a horrible outside paint job that just happened 2 months ago. I have mold growing in my master bathroom which I did have a city inspection done on Friday November 10th, 2017. He confirmed the mold, but said that I would need to have it tested to see if it is black mold. I can tell you that it is BLACK MOLD because it has been leaking since I moved in as long as we have upstairs neighbors which we are on our third set.I did start looking into having a company test the mold but it is very expensive. I have made several requests to have my carpets cleaned since we moved it and it hasn't been done. The carpet really should have been replaced before we moved in, it is so then on the tack strips that when we step directly on them it cuts our feet if we are not careful. The sheet rock is falling off the wall in the dining room, inspector saw that as well. The windows were replaced just this past summer and since then they leak every time it rains. They have came out over and over again but they are still leaking. The sliding back door doesnt even latch and lock, and the track needs to be replaced but I have been told that is impossible, so it is really hard to use that door and I have to prop things up against it to make sure it cant be opened. The vertical blinds are broke, and were broke when we moved in and that has not been fixed either, but I was charged because two slats were broke on the blinds in the bedroom and those LOOK bad to the people driving by.   
 
I have had to call the cops several times in the past two weeks for fights out in the parking lot, clothes were all over the parking lot and grass area for weeks. Random man knocking on my door at three am asking to borrow my phone. Drug deals going on in the building next to me, not to mention the needles are that found right outside by my ac unit on a daily basis. Gun shots right outside my bedroom window, found 6 bullet casings to a 380 pistol. My vehicle has been stolen from the parking lot last April, and the prosituition that is also happening in the building behind me.
 
All of this has been mentioned and called in numerous times to be fixed and it has failed to happen. Or when I call to report a security problem I get told oh well thanks for letting us know.  So what exactly is the reason as to why my rent has gone up so much? My floor plan is not even listed on the website....   If my rental money doesnt cover what needs to be fixed and fixed right in my home, then what am I paying for?
I do not feel safe at home at all, and these people are ripping people off!! Maintenance is horrible and they dont want to fix anything properly. The fan coil in my apartment is probably older than me and if covered in mold as well.  Utilities are high because of the poor poor quality in the apartments and the appliances.
