This company claims to be a healthy meal delivery service.  And they may be that, but ask them for nutritional information, and you'll get some bogus answer about calories. Fact is, they don't have a nutritionist on staff. It's all guess work done by their staff, namely Ivan Cohen.  Customers ask for macro nutrient information and are told that since meals are so varied, they can't provide the info.  

The company doesn't freeze their food or ship with dry ice, so when they ship you a week of food at a time, what they aren't telling you is that the meals you are eating on your 5th day (or god forbid, 7th day) of the plan were cooked over a week before hand.  It's simple math.  They cook Tuesday through Friday, package Saturday and Sunday, ship out on Monday. Your food is delivered Tuesday if you're in a specific delivery area. If not, you get it Wednesday.  So at best, your food is 5-7 days old when you receive it.  By the time you finish a weeks worth of food, it's been nearly two weeks since it was cooked.  They use #alwaysfreshneverfrozen on all their social media presence.  Does this sound fresh to you?

Then there's employee issues. For example, several former employees have open suits against the company, legal action in progress, EDD disputes, open cases with labor boards... Why?  Because of bounced checks, refusal to pay actual salaries owed, and refusing to pay an employee just to punish them.  Additionally, several employees have potential immigration violations.  Management employees are paid by company check to avoid the company paying payroll taxes.  The company frequently receives notices from state board of equalization for not paying sales taxes.  They have no insurance either.

They ripped off their previous Landloard, Diamond Place Partners in Santa Clarita. They've tried to rip off their current landlord, LA Prep in LA.  They spend company money on fancy cars, fancy shoes, expensive clothing, new fake b***s and liposuction for Andrea Cohen.  They openly discuss their use of medication purchased from out of the country to assist in their weight loss. These are Amphetamines.  Ivan frequently uses threats of physical violence to scare employees or other business partners into getting his way.

They screwed over major food suppliers like US Foods, Sysco, Shamrock... They will continue to do this because they don't have capitol and don't have a clue how to run a business.

How do I know all of this?

Because they screwed me over and I am taking legal action against them.
