Les Scwab Tecnician and His manager They Damaged TPMS sensor on one of my tires. marysville Washington

 I had a tire that was partial flat,, i removed the tire and went to the les schwab bussines on stat ave in marysville,Wa at the time of my arrival I was met by one of there technicians who ask what the problem was i said i dont know all i know is that my tie was partaily flat, at this point he looked at the tire and said there your problem a nail that was in the center of the tire that he then marked.

i was then told that they would get to the repair in about a hour, i then went inside to wait which i did for about 45 min. at this point a different technian called me into the servise area to tell me my tire sensor was bad he said that it was from a pressur monitering cap that i had installed, because they had corodid the sensor stem. the caps in quetion had only been on the tires for about a week with no sign of corrosion.

I was then told that they could repair it for 85.00, only they didnt have the correct part, this is when i left and went home, then went to the dealer that i bought the car from and was toid the stem of the sensor was bent and split, so how does a tire stem cap do this type of damage. i then looked up online causes of failures and damge to these sensors and it plainly say that they can be damaged from the machine used to remove tire from rim if the technician is careless.

the manager denies that this was the case and that he was standing there the whole time this was going on, which i strongly suspect is a out right lie, to keep any blame off the store.

this being said and seeing that others have complained about this store, you might want to rethink taking any bussiness there, unless you have a big wallet, cause your going to reamed.

I eventualy got the sensor replaced to the tune of 91.50 at a different shop, but what was a simple free tire repair that someone saw as a opertunity to make 85.00 from after there neglgence went on to cost me a great deal of stress and time from work and money.
