Lightico lightico.com, Lightico , Morris Malka They lied to me about privacy laws when sending confidential legal or certified documents. They are not GDPR compliant. In addition the company is NOT based in the USA-They are based our of the Middle East. All phone numbers (US) are forwarded. Lightico misrepresent themselves. The service may be illegal and your documentation-including drivers licenses can be compromised. Tel Aviv

This company will misrepresent themselves as legit while making use of your confidential documentation and tying you into long term contracts. They will also make unlawfull use of your data, including customers email addresses, phone numbers, ID documentation.

They are not GDR compliant and the data you send via their platform or APP can be compromised leading to severe legal issues. This company is not based in the US as they claim. It's somewhere in the middle east. Stay Away.

For complete transparency in rebuttal to these claims, I'd like to first identify myself. 

I am Howard Schulman, a Director at Lightico, with complete knowledge of our product, how it works, and how it is presented. Note that we have only recently been made aware of this report. 

To address each of the allegations in the report. 

1) Lightico is GDPR compliant and meets and exceeds many global data security and privacy standards. We maintain several certifications that are independently verified. Lightico works with large enterprise customers in Banking, Insurance and with other Financial Services companies. (More here: https://www.lightico.com/customer-success-stories/).  We make no use of, do not sell, nor have any interest in the personal identifying information that our customers may collect while using Lightico.   - More information can be found here https://www.lightico.com/security-compliance/ and in our clearly stated and legally reviewed and approved Privacy Policy - https://www.lightico.com/privacy-policy/

2) Moris Malka is a Director in our Business Partnership & Alliances/Reseller program, he does not sell Lightico to end users. There is no clear reason why his name is mentioned in the title of this report. 

3) Like many Software as a Service ( Saas) companies we offer Lightico on an annual subscription basis. There is no misrepresentation about that. If an issue arises, we have been known to accommodate our customers and terminate the contract early. 

4) Our headquarters are based in Tel Aviv, Israel. We employ a workforce that resides all over the United States and United Kingdom (Work-from-Home). More relevant to the report might be that we maintain several data centers and servers for our platform, in the United States, UK, and the European Union. Our Terms and Conditions grant exclusive jurisdiction to the courts in New York - United States (https://www.lightico.com/terms-and-conditions/). Amendments have been made for customers that request specific laws and jurisdictions - subject to negotiation, legal review and approval.
