I was hired by Looma Home to create the Instagram Strategy to introduce the brand on social media. We agreed in developing 18 content pieces using their material. I was responsble to develop a creative strategy, Instagram calender, visual strategy and creative direction to the designer.

After having the calendar approved. I worked with a designer who developed some of the graphic posts. I then, uploaded the posts to their account on the platform Planoly and created on the copies. I advided the team - Denver and Elaina, that the calendar was ready by October 20th.

Elaina got back saying they were reviewing and would get back to us (the graphic deisgner and myself). Two weeks later, the graphic designer concated me asking if I have heard back from them, and I said no. I went to see the calendar on Planoly, and I noticed they changed the password.

I thought it was weird and contcated the graphic designer. The following week, I tried again, and nothing, but the graphic designer heard back from Denver. He never got back to me. I started to email him once a week and message him on Slack, and nothing.

So I decided to message him on Slack in a group in which all team members were, because he was clearly just ignoring me. He then replied saying he was in India for two weeks and would get back to me soon. He did not, and removed from the group. I tried to email him again today, and nothing.

I have an agreement ad proofs of everythting I am saying it is true, and even though I worked extra hours on this project that was supposed to take only 3 weeks, I am charging only the remaining amount. I want my payment, but I also want to report this company that is using purpose-drive marketing and fasely advertising themselves as ethical.

Brands that are truly ethical don't do such a thing. I want the consumers to be aware that they aren't truly ethical, because many people choose brands for their practices. They are using the content I created, ignoring me, and have not paid me! It is disrepectful and unethical!

Their instagram is @loomahome. It makes me sick to read their posts that posts that I created. At this point, I don't even believe theiy are actually sustainable.
