As I was paying at Maaco, the secretary told me there was a 4% credit card surcharge fee. I said I wasn't aware of that fee. Mark, the estimator, yelled, "I told you to bring cash the last time you were here!" This is a lie. I surely would have remembered a detail like that! I paid the fee because I didn't have $300 cash on me. Afterwards I found out that if a business is going to charge this fee, it has to be clearly posted, which it is not. This is an illegal business practice.
