Malibu Beachside Sober Living is a faulty establishment masquarading as a place for troubled individuals to get well.  The management is negligent, the environment is chaotic and unsupportive, and few people leave Malibu Beachside without relapsing.  

The male driven establishment is notorious for exploiting vulnerable women, and spreading gossip throughout the sober community.  Rules are enforced with unpredictability and many relapse while in the house without notice.  Clients are often evicted without warning and without violating rules and procedures.  

Recently, one of the two owners has relapsed.  That may explain why he is opening and reading personal documents of former clients (like bank account statements) to current clients in the home.  

If you are looking for a place to hang out, Malibu Beachside is beachfront and beautifully decorated.  Nonetheless, it does not uphold the services it promises, and will be detrimental to your chances of staying sober.
