I recommend anyone who wants to work with Mark Dunnett and his associates do a background check.

The work was not done to spec, often using cheaper materials. Many subcontractors were not paid by Mark, whom we paid. We had to repay the subcontractors, in order to remove leins from our house. I'm not the only person with this issue, please ask around. Mark Dunnett isn't trustworthy.

 People are allowed to write really amazing words, with no sense of truth or fact. It is really amazing what people write and more so what people take as truth. Whoever this fellow was, I hope all is well with him.

The client here and his wife engaged our business to complete their residence.  There were many challenging property existing issues, including very poor architectural plans, having to deal with extreme existing property conditions caused by a previous fire and a very non-consistent banking source for Owner payouts.  

My recollection of the real problem consistented pursuant to a banking communication failure (no blame to the property owner), money flow issues per the approved % of completion contractor draws and payments per approved bank draws to our company.  In recent years I have seen this situation happen many times with this bank. 

The client and his wife were friends of ours through the majority of the project, until the Phase 1 (interior occupancy) draws were severly shorted.  We then had a very critical capital situation; both sides became protective and reactions erupted, leading to a very difficult series of communications and eventual project shut down and relationship closure. 

Another contractor completed the project, above our liens.  The money was never collected, but we hold no anger or accusation to the owners.  In future years this particular bank had many indictments of fraud and mismanagement of funds to property owners and contractors. 

Regardless of the allegations, we wish the Owner and his wife the best on al levels.

This report - aimed at both myself and the company have had a devastating effect on my person and business, since it was angrily launched, for many years.

Yes,  it was retracted by the author, but this report never goes away.  This being stated, I am thankful to have had a great business since 1979 and look forward to many more years of successful contracting and property development. 

Angy words spoken or written can be devestating to all parties involved; I sincerely wish all parties the best.

Had the same problems with Mark Dunnett/Rosewood Const.  I played him at his own game and did get paid for the work I did before I told him he could find someone else to finish.
