I am completely outraged!!! I had the worst experience at Marquis Jeweler and they sold me a horrible product that fell apart within four weeks.   I tried to find the perfect wedding band and I thought I finally found a good one at Marquis, but instead, I was totally deceived :(

Four weeks after getting married, a diamond fell out of my band.  I returned to the store and they replaced the diamond and apologized.  Someone working at the store said the diamond was probably loose due to sizing.  They were polite and replaced the diamond within a couple days, so at first I felt fine about the situation.  However, two weeks later another diamond fell out! I went back to the store and they accused me of banging my ring around, which caused the diamonds to fall out.  I always wear my wedding band with my engagement ring- my engagement ring was purchased at another store and in the last two years that I have worn my engagement ring I've never had a problem!

I told them that I want my money back and they refused.  The best they could do was offer me store credit, replace the missing diamond in my ring, or to pick out a new ring.  I decided to choose another ring because I realized mine was horrible quality and I never want to return to the store. The manager of the store was very difficult to work with and lacks customer service skills. His method to finding a replacement ring was  to sell me a ring that was $800 more than the ring I had already purchased. After he spent quite a while trying to push a more expensive ring on me, I told him that it makes absolutely no sense to invest anymore money on a ring because the last one he sold me already fell apart! Why would I give this man more money!?

The manager was very pushy and horrible to work with.  When I finally picked out another ring, which I sincerely dislike, he immediately took the wedding band from me that I initially bought.  I asked him if I could wear the initial band until my new one was ready because it had sentimental value (I just got married in it!!) and I didn't want to be without a ring.  He replied that if another diamond fell out, then he would have to pay for it because "the ring is going back on the shelf"... so, they had my ring and my money for a couple days.  They did have a quick two day turn around for the new ring, but overall, my experience was terrible.  I now wear a ring that I really don't like and I don't even know if it's real.  I will go somewhere else to get it appraised.

horrible experience! Very sad this had to happen with my wedding band :( Caution- Do Not Shop at Marquis Jeweler!!
