MCG (Merchants Consulting Group) & Performance Merchant Alliance & Miles Suffling Don't work for this company they lie! North Carolina - Miles Suffling who represents MCG Nationwide

  I was recruited by MCG (Merchant Consulting Group) as a representative to solicit small and medium size businesses to process credit card transactions. One of the main reasons I decided to work for this company was that they advertised that provide five set appointments every day. The position is 100% commission. They explain to me that their phone room in Dallas has telemarketers calling small businesses scheduling your appointments. After two days of training via webinar I was given my first days leads. Needless to say out of five appointments to people that I was to ask for haven't worked in those establishments for years. The other three appointments did not know that I was coming and swore to me that no one called them. After my first day I spoke to my manager Miles Suffling who said well the appointment setters they really don't do a great job and you can't count on the appointments. It's just to get you into a different area and then you're supposed to Self-generate leads on your own going business to business in that area. After a second day of people who I supposedly had an appointment with and who new nothing about an appointment , who we're not interested in what we had to offer and again insisted that no one contacted them. I quickly realized that this company falsely advertised the position. They did this solely to induce representatives like me to work for them. This is a very deceptive practice and the only reason I'm writing this rip off report is to alert any other genuine salesman looking for work not to work for this company. Later, after looking up this company further I found out that they are an offshoot of Performance Merchant Alliance. Apparently the ownership is the same and they just switched names of companies because of all the terrible complaints that were coming in to the parent company. Had I known this I would never of work for merchant consulting group.
