What kind of lowlife scum would rip-off people during this crisis? A lowlife scumbag is who. This guy is a total joke so into himself, for what reason only God knows.  This is not blackmail or extortion, and we would not even be writing this had he done the honest thing and simply transferred our money back to us.

At Md Bespoke, our reputation is of the utmost importance to us and something that we’ve worked extremely hard to build since we opened our doors in 2000. The quality of our garments, our attention to detail and integrity has allowed us to build a loyal base of customers that we’re extremely grateful for.

In the process of building this business, we’ve provided many hardworking Canadians with good paying jobs and made sure to give back to the community that has supported us so well. Given all of this, you’ll understand that we will not take the accusation of fraud lightly.

For the benefit of anyone who comes across this review,

We feel that it is extremely important to provide some context around the situation surrounding “Jay J's” review.

This review followed a recent call that Md Bespoke received on Saturday May 9th 2020, from a Josh ("Jay J") Agho who is affiliated with Canadianmasksupply.com, an online retailer of face masks in response to COVID-19.

Jay stated that certain payments customers made through his website, Canadianmasksupply.com, were somehow being redirected to our bank account.

Given the severity of this accusation, our team asked for more detail around the “redirected payments,” such as the customer names and the amounts transferred in error. Jay was unable to provide any of this information to us and became quite aggravated when we were trying to clarify the situation. At the end of the conversation, we agreed to have another phone call once he had more information.

In between phone calls, we reached out to Shopify to inquire if it was possible for payments from his website to be redirected to ours. Shopify stated that this scenario is NOT possible and confirmed our suspicion that Jay J is most likely part of a scam.

After a follow-up call with Jay, he still could not identify the customer names or payments that have been “redirected” and once again became agitated when we did not agree to send him the money he requested. Following the phone call, Jay sent Marlon Durrant a number of threatening text messages to which we have not responded.

To our current and future customers, this is simply an act of petty extortion and an attempt to soil our name. To all readers, we are working hard to have this review removed. We have not been in business for 20-years to be extorted from a website that popped up overnight and is making claims that cannot be supported by any tangible evidence.

Jay claims he reached out to the police, however, we are still waiting to hear from them. Please note that our Lawyers are on stand-by and ready to respond to Jay’s unsubstantiated claims.
