We have been trying to take a vacation offered through Mexico VIP Holidays.  We completed our reservation on September 17, 2010.

On March 29, 2011 we were given information for payment and the beginning of our dates to arrive.

We paid our portion of fees on April 2011.

This is what we were told...

"Let me inform you that the amount we will charge on your credit card will be $7,722 Mexican pesos this amount equals $594.00 dollars using an exchange rate of thirteen Mexican pesos, the amount shown on your statement might be different from the $594.00 either lower or higher depending on the exact exchange rate used by your credit card Company.

Please let us know if you agree, so we can go ahead and make the charge"

After calling our bank to verify that the sum was removed we were surprised to find out we were charged $661.11.  In checking with our bank "it charged as it was given. No exchange rate on our banks end."  Since then we decided to take our vacation and were told they would let us know.

Since April 2011 we have heard nothing except "we are still trying to find a resort for us".  We sent an email saying we would be happy to go to any of the offered vacation sites. 8 Sites available.  We only receive information from Eva that they are still trying to find a resort for us.  We have all the communication via email that has been communicated to us.

We have been waiting five months for this vacation.  In actuality a years time.  We have been overcharged, given false information and our vacation has not been fulfilled.

The contract we signed said that there are no refunds.  Our certificate expired the middle of September.

We feel They have defaulted on their end of the this contract.
