Delivery of a faulty website (bvmtv.com) did not receive a workable product and have had to spend significant time and resources to fix numerous code errors and redesign the whole website inside and out. Spent over four months repairing all the problems. I went to small claims court and was rewarded with $882.00 out of $10,000 plus dollars of losses. The defendant appealed the case to court this coming May 31st, 2023. He never produced one receipt for the money that was spent on the website when we asked many times. I paid for the repairs that included a new server that was part of the agreement on his proposal for $60, which ended up being $358 per month. Hired freelancers in web development that the costs I have receipts for $1,800. Plus the plugins that we disputed in court that he never put in. To go back to the delivery part of my issue, I was led to believe I was getting a site made with Dreamweaver HTML5, when I got WordPress that has issues with Video and Audio due to conflicts with paid premium plugins. When I asked for my money back and or for him to fix the issue, Michael wanted more money for the repairs, and he felt that I would him much more based on hours he never proved he spent and id with zero receipts. He made threatening comments in ORD in February 2023 toward my wife that she was harassing his wife, which is a complete lie. With more lies in ODR, with him saying that I owed him for money that hour he spent when he was paid by the "milestones" when each one was done Michael did get paid, except on the last "milestone" where I paid him upfront the remaining payment based upon ONLY the graphics that he showed looked good. Nothing that was "under the hood of the car" is an example of seeing nothing until it was done. Nothing along the way with the site how it was looking after the payment for the development. I have had several websites built since 1995, never having problems with the web developer wanting more money prior.
