MMINSCOMPANY DON'T CASH THAT CHECK! Houston Texas

I was almost ripped-off by this company big-time. I did go as far as to go online and "activate my check," by entering my phone number and e-mail address. I don't know what will happen as a result of providing that information. There is no doubt that this check must be fake, because the company is offering you 350.00 dollars straight away, without even knowing who you are. Who pays a stranger in "good faith" to do work for them?

I did receive the same check for 1,885.55 dollars, as others have. The envelope seemed strange, since it had stamps from Spain on it! However, the actual letter and check had a Houston address.

The letter contained a user ID and password, which was supposed to be used to log on to the web site. However, upon logging on to the website, I realized that the site wasn't even secure! There was no lock on the internet page. Why would you need a username and password to log on to an insecure site? That was enough to make me begin searching the internet for evidence of a possible scam.

Thank goodness I went online, found this site, and there was actually information available about this particular company/scam before I decided to deposit the check! It saved me a lot of grief. Thank you to the first person who was brave enough to come forward with this, and to all of the others who followed suit. It definitely helped many others avoid being ripped-off.
