On August 25, 2015 we found a boat on Oodle that we wanted to purchase.  The broker was Motors-Store.com.  We read the reviews and decided to go ahead with the deposit.  Their site states you give them a deposit, they deliver the boat and clear title and you have 10 days to have it checked out at which time you must send the balance of payment.

Motors-Store did not deliver the boat, but told us they now want the entire purchase price before delivery.  They don't answer the phone and have e-mailed us only twice telling us once the boat was on the truck and would be here in 3 days and then came back and said they want the rest of the money first.

We have tried to get our deposit back, but to no avail.  They won't even respond to any of our requests now.

We sent the money via Pay Pal My cash card and their fraud system is very complex and not even related to Pay Pal, it's through InComm. Pay Pal won't help at all.  The lady at InComm did state they are working with a guy who used the same company and  so far is out $5,000.

Just an FYI upon further research Motors-Store.com's URL is registered in Moscow Russa although they state they are in Virginia.  The BBB has no record of them in Virgina, but has had other complaints and they have an "F" rating.  Their phone number is 757 512 7830 but no one ever answers.

We have reached out to Oodle , Pay Pal, the FBI, IC3, local law enforcement, etc but Motors-Store.com is slick and so far nothing has been accomplished.

They also sell on Craig's List and Git.me.com.  Buyer beware.  Does anyone have any ideas?  We are a retired couple (not an old couple) with limited funds and we wanted this boat for spending time with our grandkids.
