Mr. Specs Opticians took my money for broken glasses Lynn, Massachusetts

two and a half months ago i used my tax refund to purchase a new pair of glasses . after the first exam by 1 of their optometrists my glasses arrived , they were totally wrong i could barely see at all with them . we got another optometrist to examine me and we tried again . now you should know i had selected a lense called  The  CLARIS HD lense. they were the best on the market ,and the most expensive lense out there . 350.00 dollars for lense . they had built in scratch coating glare resistant,and ultra violet protection. the total cost was 575.00 dollars yeah thats right 575.00 dollars. the most i had ever paid before was 325.00 wow these are going to be great glasses .

well the second pair arrived and i could see i couldnt read with them but i was convinced by Allen and Marty that i needed to adjust to the new glasses , so i took them home i have emphysema and my wife and I were planning to move out west to save my life . we got the opportunity to go earlier than we planned .

after arriving here i began to notice that i was seeing a lot of glare on my lenses and the cleaning cloth that i was told to use by Mr. specs was leaving swirl marks on the lenses and i had to use a pair of reading glasses on TOP of my new 575.00 glasses to read oh these were supposed to be lineless bifocals nice huh . well i called and asked Allen which lenses did they use in my glasses and i was told oh we used a cheaper Seiko lense that is just plastic and they have NO scratch coat or glare coat or uv protection. when asked for a refund of the 200.00 dollars extra that I paid ,I was told NO WAY  they would give back 80.00 dollars , but no more. now what do I do well deal with it I was told. well here we go RIPPEDOFF AGAIN , It makes me want to do bad things I am out 200.00 dollars . OH DID I MENTION I AM PERMENANTLY DISABLED , well if you have a fixed or limited income ,STAY AWAY  FROM MR. SPECS  cause they love to RIP people like us off. oh i did get an 80.00 refund . thats 80 of the 200 i paid extra for those great lenses they sold me . They are theives and nothing more , so beware .
