My son flew with Robert Kocak to supplement his twin time for resume puposes.  According to my, son the operation went great and he learned quite a bit.  But what made Mr. Kocak's operation special was his extra attention to detail.  He insured that my son had transportation from the Nashville airport to his hotel when he arrived and then gave him a ride back to the airport himself when he had completed his time there.  

During the days my son was there Mr. Kocak had him to his home for a few meals and provided my son transport to and from his hotel to fly.  Mr. Kocak went above and beyond the normal responsibilities of any service provider to insure my son had a positive and beneficial experience with him.  I would recommend his service to any of my fellow airline pilots if any of their kids needed some supplemental twin time. 

I will not rehash what every other person has commented on regarding Rob and his operation. I am simply writing in to endorse all of the other positive and factual statements rebutting the claim of what appears to be an obvious competitor trying to soil a good person’s name. Rob is great instructor, with an awesome demeanor, has tons of experience and just an overall solid aviation guru.

I flew 75hrs from coast to coast with Rob and NOT once did I feel endanger either by lack of knowledge or sketchy equipment. In fact, this was just opposite. When it comes to cautious flying and proper maintenance, Rob wrote the book. He is not afraid to remain on the ground, even at the expense of disappointing a student or client, if it is everyone’s best interest. Time and time again we all read articles about get-home-itis, or macho attitudes that get people killed; Rob simply won't have it.

An overall great experience; I learned a ton and had fun while doing it. People should be leery of this guy’s report, not Rob and his wealth of knowledge, caution, and great teaching ability. In summation, I have been around aviation since I was 7 and began flying when I was 14; I am 30 now. Simply put, I place Rob in the stop tier of aviation people I have gotten to know over the years; he gets tops ranks for professionalism, knowledge, and genuine interest in his student/client.

What a shame! Robert has worked for so many years on building and keeping a good name and reputation for his flight/teaching career.  How dare this obvious imposter "G3 Flyer" to spend even a second defamating this man's character or his well respected and well established business, multienginetimebuilding.com.

What a shame!  That these lies and accusations are even allowed on the internet with absolutely no validity or investigation first! Seriously disappointing that this is what our world is coming to.  

"G3 Flyer" - all I can say for you is that you (without a doubt in my mind) are a failing competitor desperately in need of business, anyway you can get it! To resort to such criminal and scandalous attacks about someone you have most definitely never even met, you are obviously the one who is actually scamming people!

You have never been anywhere near Robert's "facilities" or aircraft or you would certainly know that he is a one-man operation on a private airport with an impeccable flight log and high quality aircraft, NOT some poorly maintenanced and impersonal flight school! Definitely NOT someone who would rip ANYONE off!!!

One more thing "G3 Flyer", BEFORE YOU MAKE FALSE CLAIMS AGAINST PEOPLE YOU HAVE NO CONNECTION TO, YOU SHOULD AT LEAST GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT! Wow! I feel so sorry for the clients who book your services (they will definitely be scammed) over the decent and honorable people (and their families) you lie about and cheat here on these types of websites.  

To Robert @ multienginetimebuilding.com:  Keep up the amazing work and dedication to your students! Surely everyone will see right through "G3 Flyer's" absurd claims and incredibly ridiculous attacks against you and this will not deter a new prospects from benefiting from your services.

I have known Rob and his wife for many many years. If you knew them you would know how ridiculous  this is. But I do have a suggestion . 

G3 Flyer or whoever you are, post a copy of a cancelled check or credit card receipt, front and back so we can see what really is going on.  Or did you send $20,000 in a s****.>

How ridiculous.

I read the complaint by G3flyer, and can only conclude he was writing about some other company.  

I flew with Rob at Multi Engine Time Building earlier this year (2013).  There was nothing "dysfunctional" about his organization - it is a one man operation focused on providing customer service at a low cost. He gave me exactly the hours and training I asked for at exactly the cost quoted on his website. There were no extra charges, no attempt to "upsell," and we flew as many hours as I could handle every day. 

I went to METB because Rob offers a personally tailored flight experience at less than half the price of the cookie cutter training at ATP. I liked his plane, a well maintained Twin Comanche, and could see that he goes the extra mile to keep it  reliable. Any plane is subject to mechanical issues, but his is better than most.

Dont let the bogus complaint by G3flyer keep you from calling Rob at METB. He's a good guy providing a good a service in a tough business. I'll be going back. 

I did my multi rating with Rob and 50hrs time building last summer. Not sure why anyone would write all those bad things about him and his plane but they are way out from my experience. Rob's plane is in top notch condition, he'll go beyond the norm to work around your schedule, and he's very very professional as a pilot/instructor. I don't think he even has employees, I don't know what they would do if he did. rob does all the instructing and time building along with his scheduling and occasionally his wife helps him with phone calls. 

My experience.  I was really pressed for time and rob did my multi rating in 3 days. We flew several times a day with ground school and lunch in between. Rob had a syllabus/training program that was as efficient as any I've experienced in other trainings with other instructors. I really got better instruction in less time thanks to his organize system. When ur ready he sends to your choice of DPE.  No payrolled DPE looking after his students interest. Not sure if he's had students to fail but I'd never been in a twin and day 4 breezed through check ride. 

Time building i was also pressed for time and was done in 4 days. 2 (12.5 hr days) per week. All my request. Don't think that's the norm for him but he did because that's what worked for me. He did his 100hr inspection Saturday and Sunday so plane was ready for us on Monday. Furthermore, we caught a nasty headwind on way home from Phoenix and I actually logged 52hrs instead of 50, no addition cost. 

Rob is a supper instructor and goes outta his way to make his clients happy customers. If u wanna multi rating or log some time in a multi rob was the cheapest I found in the area and u get more then u pay for. First class operation!  He's a GREAT pilot to boot. 

 I flew with Rob just over a year ago and had a fantastic experience. I buit 30 hours with Rob in only 4 days. The aircraft was in excellent condition, Rob was experienced and professional and I even got a home cooked meal every day. After my experience, I find it extremely hard to believe any bad reports about Rob and his business.

Multi-engine time building is a wonderful company. Have flown with the instructor many times. He is always willing to go the extra mile to help his students become the best pilots possible. The airplane is one of the best twin engine aircraft I have never flown! Very clean bad airworthy. Will go back for more flying in the future! 

Can't say enough great things about Rob Kocak and his Multi-Engine Time Building. Rob is totally honest and very trustworthy. Excellent value, awesome instruction, and invaluable experience. I cannot stress enough how incredible Rob and his wife were during my time building experience. I know others with 100% satisfaction as well. he gave me far more than I paid, including a home cooked meal every time we flew.

As a flight instructor myself, I know how critical word of mouth is and your reputation. Rob's is impeccable. Can't speak to the post here and accusations of impropriety, but I find that extremely hard to believe. I'll gladly attest to his honesty, and tell anyone that I paid all in advance and he was super concerned with making sure we were squared up at the end. Without Rob there is no way I could be enjoying my current dream job.

this claim is not true! I've flown with rob during my multi engine training and rob got me finished in 5 days! I passed my checkride with ease thanks to rob. I plan on doing more flying with rob. This claim is not true. 

 I am from Camby, Indiana. I know of this company as my late brother flew with them  numerous times over the last several years. My brother has recently passed from cancer and is not here to write this himself.

My brother did nothing but brag about this company and the thrill of his good times flying with them. He would light up with the joy he felt after each flight.

After researching other complaints on your website, we noticed at least one so far that has almost word-for-word identical type complaint against him, one of our other competitors. In fact, the first and last paragraphs are identical. The remainder of the complaint,i.e.,claiming that he came for "overseas", was put into faulty aircraft,ect. is too coincidental. This was submitted on 10/21/2012 against Time Building Central. This should provide the proof to show that our company is NOT what this person is claiming. He apparently has nothing better to do with his time than to trash competitors in an effort to gain more business for himself.

 I have flown with Rob on several occasions and have taken advantage of his fantastic time building program. All the negative comments listed above are FALSE! Rob is a very friendly, humble and experienced instructor. The aircraft used in the training was in excellent condition and performed well. I have trained at University flight schools, advanced flight training programs and am an experienced instructor myself. I can tell you, you will not find better training anywhere for this price in the US. Do your career a favor and fly with Rob. 

I already had my CFII Helicopter when I met Rob.  Everything that was written about him is exact opposite.  I have been teaching for years and found him to be very knowledgable and professional.  Rob went out of his way to accommidate my schedule so that I could get the traing done as quick as possible.  

I have rented a lot of airplanes in my day and enjoyed flying in Rob's because it was so well taken care of.  It is very personal to him and he takes great pride in what he has.  If it was for sale I would buy it with out any hesitation!

I completed my MEI with Rob and he prepared me so that the checkride was very easy.

I would tell you this person who will not even Identify himself making these acusations are all FALSE!  It blows me away that in Aviation someone could do this to a fellow pilot.

The Money I spent with Rob was actually less than he quoted me and I will be going back to him for my Airplane ATP.  

Every one of the accusations are not at all how Rob conducts himself or maintains his Airplane.  Oh and Rob has No employees this is not a big flight school where you get lost in the shuffel.  This is one man and his plane sharing his love of aviation at a Great Price.

My name is Alex, I am from Tennessee and I have trained with MultiengineTimeBuilding.com multiple times. The company is just Rob and his twin Comanche (so what `employees' is this guy talking about?). Rob is an excellent instructor, immensely knowledgeable, realiable and accomodating. I got my ME, MEI, and CFII wih Robert and have had nothing but good experiences. The aiplane is very well mainained, and looked after with enormous care. I once asked him about a strange sound I heard from the front wheel well and he had a mechanic inspect it that very day after we taxied back to the hangar. Robert was very flexible with payment, as well, I just cannot imagine how he can rip anybody off. The deal is extremely fair and quite honestly, probably the best one around (which is one of many reasons I drove 120mi each end to do my training). The only scam I see here is this supposed ATP, MEI ... living in Seattle, abroad, whatever tarnishing the name of an honest guy. God knows it is hard to make a living as an independent flight school owner, even without scammers like this. I hope I have changed the mind of someone who is considering Rob and was given pause by this insane, made up story.

My name is Bill and I'm from Central Ohio.  I flew with Rob last February, April, and May 2012.  I did my private multi, commercial multi, and time building with Rob from Multi Time building.com.  Rob is an excellent instructor and actually teaches the things that will save your life and make you an excellent pilot.  I did my initial private multi rating in 3 days and did my multi commercial in 3 days.  We flew all over the US including down to Georgia and out to California.  Rob allowed me to do all of the flight planning and didn't hold my hand. 

The training you get from Rob is invaluable.  You will fly in actual IMC, you will actually deal with density altitude, and you can fly in high terrain.  The difference with the training you receive from Rob and other larger pilot mill outfits is that you will actually experience things in the plane and not just in a class room.   All of your flying is in a plane and not in a simulator and you aren't sharing seat time playing safety pilot.  I did a lot of research before investing my time and money with Rob and you can't get a better value for your dollar anywhere. 

As far as accusations about the treatment of his employees, Rob has no employees other then himself and his wife.  Rob was very respectful with me and with the multitude of FBO staff that we interacted with.  Also the safety concerns about his aircraft are unfounded.  I have been an A&P mechanic for over 15 years and I can assure you Rob's Twin Comanche is in completely airworthy condition.  No it is not a brad new airplane with flat panel displays and parachute that will save your bacon when you forget how to fly but his plane is completely safe, comfortable, and an excellent training and cross country platform.

Do yourself a favor and ignore this false posting and get some real world flying experience with Rob that will actually improve your pilot skills and open doors in your career.

My name is David and I live in Kentucky. i am a cfi and have a multi commercial rating. I have been to Robs twice to build over 50 hours in two visits. I have no personal ties with Rob besides becoming friends with him through our time building. First off these comments are clearly from a competitor trying to steel business for the fact that they can't compete with his prices and services. This is an outrage that another company would stoop to this level by lieing and making up all of these things for the companies gain. I couldn't have had much of a better experience traveling to Tennesee to build multi time. We flew all over the country, filed IFR, shot real instrument approaches and to top it all off, by the time we got back his wife would cook us dinner. Rob was by no means "overbearing". Hes a great insturctor with a solid flying airplane! He definetely does not bend the rules as far as maintenance goes either. Also it's funny how people act like they used to work with Rob when he has never had any other employees. I also don't understand how someone could act as if he stole money from them before they showed up. Rob only has you pay for part of it in person before getting in the airplane. There is no down payment prior to showing up. If you goto his website you can clearly see all of the true and positive comments written about his business. Theres also a ton of pictures showing people having a good time with Rob and his Twin Commanche.
