On 05/27/2011, I received three text messages on my cell phone from MyMobilLove.com. The first text stated that I had "requested daily mymobilelove texts" and that I will be charged "9.99/mo" for this service.

The second text read: "We all say things we later regret, but you should give (and accept) sincere apologies once cooler heads prevail."

The third, and final text, was a recap of the first: "Enjoy your daily Love texts, daily alerts billed at ?9.99 per month!".

Needles to say, I, nor my wife, signed up for this service (and I have no children).

I contacted my cell phone provider, Sprint, and advised them of my issue. The representative was very helpful and explained to me that this was a "solicitation" to my cell phone and that I can have this service, or any other "service" BLOCKED from being sent to my phone. The Sprint representative removed the charge - yes, that's right! - I was already BILLED for this, and applied the BLOCK ALL service to my phone.

This block DOES NOT block the regular texts that you send and receive, only "solicitation" texts.

Another note: if you receive texts from services that you KNOWINGLY signed up for (RedBox for example), then you'll need to let your provider know which ones you WANT to block.

After speaking with Sprint, the following happened: the service was immediately canceled and I received a text from MyMobilLove confirming this; the fee that was charged was reversed; solicitation texts were blocked from being sent to my phone.

Also, did you know that this service from MyMobileLove can be signed up by individuals as young as 13? Just food for thought.
