Independently owned means that if they go out of business or sell, then you lose your warranty . Ask them . It happen to me .

The customer, Mike Clark had an engine installed in his 2001 Ford F250 on 1/31/09 for the price noted. The mileage was 121991. At the time, NAPA Auto Care was under the ownership of J.C. Enterprises. The location was not owned by the O'Brien Group until September 2009. The customer came to the facility in June of 2011 complaining of an intake manifold gasket leak which we diagnosed at no charge. When the customer disagreed with the cost of repairs, and that it should be under warranty, he was referred to J.C. Enterprises, who still owns a NAPA Auto Care Center in Gilbert. The customer left angry with our discounted estimate as an act of good faith. On June 8th, Mr Clark filed the Ripoff report, yet on June 22nd, he returned to the facility to have the repairs done on invoice #15814 for the amount of $452.00. What happened? Al of the sudden we are no longer ripoffs? Why did he bring it back for the repairs and pay the invoice with no issues? Mr. Clark's prior anger was mis-directed at the wrong entity, and O'Brien Automotive Group is owed a retraction and apology.
