So I deployed to Afghanistan for a 9 month deployment, my wife and children relocated (at our expense) to Arkansas during the deployment.  As the deployment came to an end and it was time to reunite our family we started searching for a moving company that would move our small amount of House Hold Goods from Arkansas back to FT Lewis in Washington state.  During our search my wife found National Express Relocation located on Peachtree BLVD in Atlanta.  Their web address was www. nationalexpressrelocation dot com.  We paid the original $99.00 booking fee and procured a $641.00 cashiers check as agreed.  They were supposed to pick up our furniture on the 26th of June and they said they would call to confirm 24-48 hours before the move.  Well on the 25th at around 2PM my wife still had not received a confirmation call stating that they were coming on the 26th so we called them.  I called them on Skype from Afghanistan, and my wife called them on the house phone.  They indicated that the Operations center rescheduled the move for the 30th; I explained to them that my wife was leaving the state on the 27th and that moving the date to the 30th was not a good move and asked what they could do.  The receptionist then responded that they could refund our money and that we could book with another company if we choose to.  I told her that was a rediculous offer seeing that we had less than one day to book something that we booked them with over a month ago.  I call my wife back on Skype and by this time she had finally gotten through with someone so she put the phone on speaker so I could hear the conversation.  They offered my wife her money back to which she too declined as well.

So we agreed to have them pick up our goods on the 30th of June and arranged for someone to stand in proxy for us while they loaded, instead of them showing on the 30th we had to call them again on the 1st only to find out that they canceled our move completely and refunded our money without telling us anything at all.  This company seems to be a very small moving that is probably ok for local moves but are not able to move accross country as they advertise unless they are able to line them up perfectly.  They are unreliable, and untrustworthy.  When I emailed them concerning the fact that I still had a move that I needed to complete Jay wrote me back saying we canceled the move.  After several emails back and forth I am finally fed up with them and am going to file a complaint with the Georgia Fair Trade Commission.  Filing with the BBB does not require companies to comply they simply try to be dispute resolution specialist the company isn't required to cooperate.  The Fair Trade Commission has a bit more teeth.  Funny this is after I informed them that I was going with the Fair Trade Commission they took down their website.  RIPOFF
