National Transmisson Dave lied about price, and time Calgary, Alberta

I called around the city looking to have my Rear diff re-build as it needed to be done. Spoke to six different places that did this kind of re-pair work, Dave at National Transmission told me it would be around 800$ and there was not issue's about getting the parts and doing it in one day, he was the cheapest I said lets book that in for tomarrow 8am.

Dropped it off At 8am and one of the specialist (troy) tells me no problem we will get it done for you as they only have one othere appointment that day. come 1pm I had not heard back from Dave as of yet, so I gave him a call. Only to find out they they have not even looked at my car as of yet and I would be more then 1000$ to have the diff re-build, on top of that now it would not be done untill the fallowing day, because he was trying to work me into the shop!!!

WHAT!! then why make an appointment to have work done!! So now not only have they not even started work on my Jeep that has been in there shop for 5 hours but now it won't be done till the next day. Dave says they don't gaurentee any time frame that he quote me, so I am out a Jeep for the day, with no choice but to go and rent a car to get me home.

After calling around again and speaking with a few different mechanics, I find out that the work I need done sould only take six hours and the re-build kit only runs 300$, so even at 100$ per hour and the cost of parts should only run 900$ and done in one day.

So now I am going to take my jeep somewhere else that knows what an appointment is and how to up hold a quote
