This company is a huge scam! Had an interview with them today. Base pay is $18,200/yr but they expect you to work 50-60 hours per week. That's about $5/hr. Feel sorry for the poor sap who accepts that terrible wage. On top of that they claim the job is for an administrative assistant but you also have to make sales. Apparently the products "sell themselves" so it's not too much work. Haha and also you have to endure 30 days of UNPAID training for the job. When I brought up that not paying for trainng is ILLEGAL he said he knew nothing about that. Okay, the guy is an idiot. Two guys I dealt with were named Joseph and Darrius. Here is the job description pulled right off of their Indeed page:

Company Mentioned is not Involved

AUTHOR: Hollie Bourne - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 27, 2015

I would like to respond to this report as a representative of the company QBO which is mentioned in this posting. QBO is a outsourced back office accouting firm that has no connection with the company mentioned in this ripoff report.

At one time our company at the request of Network Financial Group.  submitted a proposal to the potential client for work involving administrative duties and accounting. The client Network Financial Group did not accept this proposal for work. However, it appears that Network Financial Group plagaraized our proposal (i.e. cut and pasted) and posted it as an ad for employment with their company on Indeed. The person they hired then used this posting to complain about the company online, as you can see above. QBO has no affiliation or ties with Network Financial Group and its hiring operations. Nor does it manage Network Financial Group employees or hire on its behalf.

This misuse of the QBO name by Network Financial Group has just recently been made known to our business and we have made a request to RipOff report to have our name removed from the posting. Please note that we would never engage in unfair hiring practices NOR involve our company with illegal employment contracts such as is posted above.

Position

Jim, we apprecicate your comment to the erroneus statement from the person who created this report.

Just to clear up this was never developed as an hourly position but actually as a contract from the beginning of the ad which clearly stated the contract will start at 18,200.00 annually.

Walmart makes billions and then pay employees minimal wages but we are trying to find people who is willing to work hard and achieve higher pays and unlimited income potential and then someone wants to bring negative energy to our company is just pathetic.

The position clearly states Sales Assistant in the headline

AUTHOR: Network Financial Group - ()

POSTED: Sunday, December 28, 2014

This is primarily a sales position and its not an actual salary position. It is a contract position that offers $18,200.00 as an incentive/base/draw but we also ask for some clerical work at the same time. Most insurance agencies offer commission only for sales assistants, insurance agents or anyone that is involced in marketing so we came up with this position that kills two birds with one stone.

During training: income can be earned and it will be based on marketing, leads generated, and sales because we have over 25 products and services for someone to learn and they need to understand them clearly before we commit to giving anyone a contract.

State farm recruited me and country financial recruited me and WFG recruited me. Neither one of these fortune 500 companies offered me a salary or base or a draw for my time and I would not make any money or commission for my time of training. Any clients I generated I would have to hand them to someone else. I was still required to track my leads, schedule appointments, use a calendar, and help with paperwork and I would not get a dime for my efforts. We are not a fortune 500 company and we offering the world compared to other companies.

The person who created this rip off account should reevaluate there financial situation because an average sales person that knows how to assist with sales and make sales and presentations can make over 35k annually in just bonuses and commissions. A rock star sales assistant or sales agents can make 100k annually.

I would like to know the name of the person who came in for the interview because they do not know exactly what they are talking about as far as this industry and this is defintely not a ripp off. You can make money or make excuses why you're not making money but do not do both.

Apparently You Don't Understand Sales

AUTHOR: Jim - ()

POSTED: Friday, December 19, 2014

It clearly appears this is a position which includes you selling services/product...and that means you actually SELLING and not you TAKING ORDERS.  There's a difference.  It also clearly states the BASE PAY is the 18.2K you mentioned but there is also a commission/bonus plan to compensate for the sales you make.  What's wrong with that?  Of course, you are expected to SELL and if you don't, you won't be collecting the base pay because they'll get rid of you for not being able to sell.  The 50-60 hour stuff is simple to understand.  If you are good at making the sales, then the more effort you put into it, the more commission you will make and want to make.

Sounds to me like you were expecting an hourly job when this is a sales job disguised as an hourly job.
