Refused to give me the bees I purchased, gave me excuses for 3 month, than tried to blame it on me, called me names. When I contacted the police to resolve the situation he threatened me but than gave me the bees finaly. He still owes me 3 month of honey he stole. Stay away, if he starts giving excuses contact police immediately.  It was my fault for not calling the police for help right away! If you make a paid purchase and the seller has your item but will not give it to you it is larceny per police.

I bought my first bees in 2009 from rick.  The year of the delays! He kept us all informed about what was going on and the packages were great.   I found him courteous, helpfull and honest and would not hesitate to do business with him again .  Bees cannot be left in the package any longer than absolutely necessary, folks should learn about the animals they are keeping before attempting to keep them

I have dealth with Rick Reault for years, I have always purchased my packages from him and he was always willing and able to help me from my freshman year of beekeeping until after I moved to California. I have no idea where this person is coming from and I am so sorry that he had to waste his time defending his name and his business due to the negligence of a new beekeeper.

This is not a game "This is BEEKEEPING"!!! Lives are at stake here just like your pet inside your house, you must learn how to keep your bees alive outside of your house.

There are not many people in New England that know and care for bees better than Rick and thankfully I have found another person here in Cali to help me also. You never get as good as these people unless you do it full time like they do.

Bee Biology...keep them fed, keep them warm, keep away the mites, rodents, skunks, diseases.. and then you will get your honey..other wise you get dead bees and you go to the grocery store.

My name is Rick Reault of New England Beekeeping. I have been supplying package honeybees to N.E. beekeepers for the past eight years. I supply honeybees to over 500 beekeepers per year. This year I had three pickup dates in April. I personally pickup and transport the bees from Georgia. We drive 24 hours straight to get the bees back to NE in the best possible condition. These are long and difficult trips. Unless we send an email out stating that there has been a delay, the pickup date is the date advertised. Out of 20 plus trips I have made to Georgia, I have only had a one week delay twice( 2009).

Svetlana ordered bees for April 23rd. She did not pick up her bees on that date. Of the over 100 people picking up bees on that date, she was the only one that did not show up or make other arrangements. If bees are left in the package for over a week, they will eventually die. Svetlana is a first year beekeeper and did not understand the process. The policy is posted on my web site when ordering. The updates on the delivery dates are also posted on the web site. Svetlana will not accept responsibility for not following instructions.

After receiving a call weeks later from Svetlana looking for the bees she did not pick up, I told her I would try to shake her a package from my own hives. Due to poor weather in May, I was unable to deliver another package. This resulted in a angry phone call from Svetlana. It was then my wish to refund her money which she refused to accept. I eventually supplied her a Nuc of bees  around the end of June. Nucs cost $25 dollars more than packages and she was not charged.


As for name calling, I think you can get the idea from the posts who is calling who names. I am not a thief if you do not pickup your bees. I am not stealing honey from you if you do not pickup your bees, set them up, manage them so you may have a chance to see honey production. I am not a Con-Artist. I have a very good reputation of teaching and helping beekeepers throughout New England with several thousand beekeepers. It is painful to me to have my hard work go unappreciated by someone who does not know me or know what I do.  Sorry you are dissatisfied.
