Worse experience in a dealership ever!  After negotiating the terms the whole day and taking delivery of the car. They called us the next day with the excuse that “we were given the wrong keys” to which we asked what did they mean by that?  Their answer: “we just need you to come in to sign some papers” ??????

Turns out this is something they do very frequently, usually with customers with a low credit score or in some cases,  even with a high credit score, they just thought they could gauge some more money out of us.   How?  By not summiting the paperwork to the Nissan finance company and arguing later another used excuse: “we made a mistake by giving you the wrong car” a very calculated and deliberate mistake I may add!

BE WARNED it is what is known as SPOT DELIVERY.  Where they can give you the car, so that you take it home feel attached to it, show it to your friends and family and then they call you to exchange it for a lesser valued or if you really liked the car then, to sign other TERMS on your contract.

It is a practice when financing directly from them where they “take you out of the market” by taking your trade in, or collecting down payment upfront, or promising you a fair deal on the buyer’s order. Only to burst your bubble later, Once that happens you may be stuck with them for the purchase, an awful an unethical technique to get leverage on you as a customer. With your trade in gone or cash given to them, now the Dealer feel they can pressure you to agree to their terms on the contract!!!!!

The worst part is, even if you called the Nissan motor company, they don’t do much because as long as the dealership does not summit the paperwork. It’s as if you had not even made the purchase.

You can always deny signature on other than before agreed terms. They can’t hold you hostage if you don’t let them. You can also file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the General Attorney’s Office, also going to a local paper and t.v. news report. Customer protective agencies and Internet!

What we did. Went back, gave them the car and purchase a better car next to them; in a Dealer next to them, where they were very clear, treat us with respect and did not play games with us.

My recommendation to you is to not even step a foot into a dealership of this category, they make you feel horrible as you are trying to give them business and then they treat you like you are stilling the very same car you were trying to purchase!

Horrible people to do business with.
