I am an independent contractor for the Trivia Pages, Regal Printing.  I have sold ads in many areas and the books are in the restaurants as I have gone back and picked one up from the different restaurants.  There are always going to be disgruntled employees.  As for the leads not being provided there are certain quotas that they want us to hit to get extra phoners calling for us.  That's part of life but you can generate your own leads as well.  Which actually pays more.  I have not had a book fail to show up into the restaurants yet and my pay is direct deposited into my account.

THIS IS YOUR COMPANY.  THE GENERAL MANAGER HAS BEEN ARRESTED FOR COCAINE POSS & DISTRIBUTION 4 TIMES IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS!!   MOST OF THE EMPLOYEES THEIR ARE HARDCORE FELONS.  EMBEZZLERS, RAPISTS, EVEN MURDERERS.  NO JOKE.  THEY LIED THEIR WAY OUT OF AN F RATING WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.  THIS COMPANY HAS GONE BY MANY NAMES TOO...  TABLE TOPICS INC, NORTHWEST PUBLISHING, REGAL PRINTING, THE TRIVIA PAGES.    DONT BE FOOLED.

I was employed with Regal Printing from July 2010-July 2011 as they were transitioning their name from Northwest Publishing to Regal Printing after a Better Business Bereu rating of F to throw off any scent of the horrid online trail of peer reviewed and scam report sites such as this one. I was employed as a graphic artist to take on the production of their Trivia Page publication featuring local advertisement of the community the publication is found in.

Previous to working at Regal Printing I had been employed in Los Angeles as a graphic artist working on national ad campaigns for the entertainment industry as well as print publication, glossy subscription magazines. In other words I have an extensive resume of experience and portfolio to match it. I found Regal Printings production department to be in total disarray and horridly inefficient, managed by near illiterates of both the english language as well as any technology. I begrudgingly accepted the position with pay set at minimum wage as my first job in my move from LA to Portland, OR with the economy and jobs being what they are today. 

At first it wasn't about the pay, it was just about paying my bills. But on day one I subjected the most vile language and displays of vulgarity from the management, racial slurs, homophobic rants, inappropriate jokes Not suitable for work or even decent society.  Most business are family friendly, Northwest Publishing/Regal Printing was the first employer I ever had the misfortune of working for that is felony friendly. A large majority of the appointment setters they hire are work release or methadone clinic patients, and to be clear I think it's great for them to have served their debt to society and begin a new life, but my first week on the job I had to sign a paper saying I would not bring any children into the work place because the Lead printer was a convicted pedophile. The former manager when I began has been recently arrested for selling cocaine to an undercover portland officer as well as the illiterate ogre sloth who barely knew how to operate a computer was arrested for driving while intoxicated on marijuana during her lunch break. 

Advertising in the Trivia Page ranges around $200-$400 dollars an ad. With my skills and experience with them I averaged about 50-60 advertisement designs daily earning the company an average income on just one designer of around $18,000. What was my compensation for helping to pull in clients with my designs? Minimum wage, giving me under $60 daily in take home pay. They also had a bonus system at Regal printing that amounted to $0.15 per ad design. 

I was fired from Regal Printing by the overbaring manager Marlo Jensen for checking my online banking just before my break to see if I had enough money for lunch that day or if I was going to have to eat crackers from the whole foods in the affluent neighborhood that Regal is located in. To this day I have stayed in contact with designers at Regal and I find them on their social networking sites posting updates. 

Regal Printing attempts to present themselves as  a family, local entertainment publication, but the reality is that is a hive of volger, racist debaucheries and petty vindictive enforcement of the rules. Run more like a prison than a professional print publication. I advise anyone visiting this site to think hard about supporting this company and their culture of cruelty.

What you actually did with those websites is to remove, "Marlo J"s posts, two of em. With her profile picture of her cat! Too bad, too late! I copied and pasted her post to my computer, so it is still there.

I understand they didn't training you in prison on internet protocol, but guess being ignorant is bliss. The proof for me is already there, you removed the post of Marlo Jensen, your manager of corrupt operations.

You have my number, so give it to your lawyers, so they can sue me for "stealing" a photo off Facebook. ROTFLMAO

Yet you steal from small businesses, and me. Yet you find copying and pasting a photo is stealing!

We have been in business for over 20 yrs and do business throughout the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska.It wouldbe untrue to say that inthe two decades of business with the volume we do, that we have never hadan unhappy customer. However, we do everything possible to satisfy them once it is brought to our attention.

What wedo promise is that at the time of the presentation to potential advertiserswe have signed agreements from each restaurant that has agreed to display our publication for the year. In addition wedoconfirmation calls and a follow up call after each shippment, as well we have on file all shipping records with tracking numbers and correspondance between our customers and art department.

Mr. bowder mentioned fremont, which all customers on this town know when your issue prints and ships. We will no longer go back and forth with mr bowder. and stealing pictures from facebook hmm.. odd behavior mr bowder! and making fake accounts with this site and yelp using our email addresses and your phone number as contact, we have issued complaints with the web masters of these sites.

The information that Steve Bowder reported is not true. Mr Bowder was never hired as an employee. He accepted an opportunity to be an independant contractor. As with any contracting salesposition thesuccess falls on the individual.Assistance was given in the generation of leads, howeverThereWAS NEVER A PROMISE OF the generation of leads much less a specific amount.Mr Bowder was told from the beginning that the generation of leads and sales was ulitmately his responsibility due to the facdt he worked for himself as a contractor. Mr Bowder would sell ads, submit the contracts, andthe production company that published the publicationwould buy the contracts from him. He was paid the agreed about of commission on each an every conrtact and receivableand will be on any that come in at a future date for the two areas he worked.

The the two areas that Steve Bowder sold ads in are Lincoln Nebraska, the hometown he mentioned, and Omaha. The publication has indeed been produced, published and shipped to participating restaurants in Lincoln on 1/6/11 Texas Road House, Golden Corral, StauffersCafe andPie Shoppe, Eugene House Cafe, Ramos Pizza, Pub etc. In addition the Omaha publication is in the proof process and will be published and distributed in accordance with the contract.

The person that wrotethe innacuratereport Steve Bowderwas an independant contractor for The Trivia Pages and not an employee. Mr Bowder became disgruntled because hewas not receiving the amount of leads he wanted.He was never promised leads. We do however, assist with leadswhen possible but as an independant contractor the making and selling of leads is ultimatelythe responsibility of the contractor.All advertisers in the two towns that he worked on can be rest assured their ads will be produced,published and shippped.

As a matter of fact, all advertisers in the home town of Mr Bowder Lincloln Nebraska the publicationwas shipped 1/6/11 and currently displayedin Cooks cafe, Gourmet Grill, Stauffers Cafe and Pie shop, Golden Corral, Texas Rd House, Ramos Pizza and Pub etc. The next town Steve Bowdersold inis Omaha, and proofs are being made as we speak and will be shippped according to contract dealine.
