This complaint Related to the Citibank payment gateway and API setup for Nuvision Car pmts.

When we clicked to make payments on our Newvision auto account, University Accounting EUAS shows up on the pmt API with Nuvision. Two car pmts went to https://www.uasconnect.com/ instead of NUvision. Even though it is represented as Nuvision API for auto pmts. We do not have student loans under University EUAS or Nuvision. Nuvision stated they have no affiliation with University Accounting EUAS. This means that The three business entities are tied up in some type of hacking which amounts to gateway payment fraud and Citibank or Nuvision has been hacked.

None of the entities addressed the situation correctly and as a result, our credit which has not been corrected is still damaged! We made attempts to make some good-faith in while we worked to resolve the situation! It took about three months to get our money back and many complaints to three state governing bodies (California, Wisconsin, and Illinois!

We had literally no help from Citibank, Nuvision, and EUAS. It was understood and documented that we had no student loans with EUAS or Nuvision. Yet, our car pmts went to some type of backup fund for EUAS!! This was determined from the start!!! This all was initiated back in February 2021.

The meat of this complaint is that not one of these companies facilitates any services that deal with consumers taking losses on the front end!! Not one of these companies addressed this situation! Their response was unethical and completely un-American!

Imagine, someone steals your car payment money, damages your credit, and then threatens to repossess your car! Now on top of this, there is nowhere that is obvious and accessible to voice your issues with those who are suited to deal with the dilemma.

The money has been returned, only because we pushed state and federal agencies to get involved! The actual idea of theft and hacking still to this day has not been addressed by any of these companies and they are threatening to repossess our car because we are trying to arrange to catch up!

We were supposed to have possessions under Covid but that has been tossed right out the window! We have been harassed by Nuvison collectors even though we submitted proof of fraud! The harassment is still going on! In short, these entities are using Covid to hire people at home that cut off to avoid their accountability! Is this the new American norm?
