Today while looking on craigs list for a Job (I live in southern washingotn) i saw an add for a growing company much like everyone els's discritions.....very short with little information. I called the number and asked what the company was. Before I could even fully understand what it was exctly that the company did I had an interview an hour later.....so I got dressed up and drove into oregon. Having trouble finding the building (because of lack of signs) i see the adress on the window of a small place in a strip mall....with no signs of the company ect...I walk in to find a poorly put together front desk that was maybe  12 by ten feet with two doors....one of wich the intervies would take place in..my first thought was im nineteen, no way im getting this job (after i see the gentlmen walk out of the interview room dressed head to toe in a $500 suit. The interview was a joke although i didnt realize it at the time...I walked in filled out an "application" and the lady informed me that she would call tonight or the next day to let me know if i was going to be hired. She said they where a distributing company that sells kirby products and if hired I would be driving a company car to "inform" customers about the "product" which I still was not a hundred percent sure what the "product" was exactly.....slightly confused and feeling accomplished for having an interview no longer than an hour goes by before I get a phone call....guess what? I GOT THE JOB! Excited about no longer being unemployed I go home and tell my parents...Of course they dont seem as enthused as I am (of course they are older and have more knowlegde than I do) so here I am looking up the adress of where I was interviewed and NW distributers....couldnt find a thing. So I call the company back and ask if they have a web site....they say no, but however they have been in the area for 23 years....but not at the same location. Long story short I find all of these rip off reports and hear the horror stories and im glad I looked it up instead of just going in and waisting my time and money on going to there "training". Im just glad i saw these reports and hope that someone sees mine.....partly because when I was walking out a kid my age walks in....probably got the same phone call and promissed a 1600 dollar pay monthly....makes me sick.
