Odd Job Al's LLC Alexander David Ketchum Alex Ketchum Took Money For Services and Never Completed The Work WOODLAND PARK Colorado

Initial Contact Began on 8/6/19 to set up estimates, 8/10/19 received estimates, 8/12/19 contacted to start work, 8/15/19 scheduled to come do work- Didn’t show at scheduled time on 8/15/19, came that afternoon and did 3 hours of work, then Friday 8/16/19 Showed to review work & get supplies.

Check was written by Meagan Reynolds on 8/16/19 per Alex Ketcham stating that her husband gave authorization (Ryan Reynolds did not provide authorization for the amount requested). Check was written at 9:30am on Friday, 8/16/19, and Alex Ketchum stated he would be buying supplies to do the work and then would return immediately following.

By 2:30pm Meagan Reynolds initiated phone contact due to no return by Alex Ketcham. Later that day he made an excuse as to why he didn’t return. He then stated that he would return Saturday, 8/17/19 at 10am to resume work. He was a no-show and Meagan Reynolds called at 11:17am to contact and left a voicemail due to his phone not accepting messages – there was no response from him.

Ryan Reynolds placed a stop payment on Saturday, 8/17/19 for the check issued and notified Alex Ketcham. He responded at 8pm that evening stating he ran into problems with his trailer and that is why he didn't show that morning. Meagan Reynolds did not respond, let Ryan Reynolds continue contact with Alex Ketcham from this point on.

Alex Ketcham attempted to cash the check that he was notified was cancelled on August 20, 2019. NBH bank issued a notification that the check had a stop placement. Alex Ketcham took the notification from NBH Bank, held onto the check for 6 months and re-deposited the check March 2, 2020 . ENT bank notified 3/4/2020 at 7am and are currently investing, Police report was filed 3/4/2020, BBB Complaint Filed 3/4/2020. 

Other Consumer, Robert D. Lynam of Woodland Park reported on Google experiencing the same situation of money taken with no services provided during the same time frame that we experienced it from Alex Ketcham.
