“DAVE CARLSON” AKA “DAVID RUBRIGHT”
(((REDACTED)))
Coconut Creek, FL (((REDACTED)))
“onlinecasinobookie.com”
On 12/1/2021 I was looking for Franchises to invest in that were advertised on Franchise Gator www.franchisegator.com and after completing a questionnaire I was presented with a franchise opportunity to invest in a “Casino”/Sportsbook called “OnlineCasinoBookie” www.onlinecasinobookie.com I provided all my contact information and was then shortly contacted by an individual named Dave Carlson (954-637-4620) dave@onlinecasinobookie.com
Dave mentioned that he’s been in the business for 20+ years and he would build a website that he would market 500k emails a month for life to individuals who inquired about online gambling/sportsbetting through his database/distribution list that he held. In exchange I would receive 25-30% of all players loses 1x a month. Dave claimed he had over 2900 clients who paid anywhere from $2995 to $20,000 for his services.
He stated many clients saw money coming in within the first 2 weeks of being live and advised me that I would get my entire investment back within 3-6 months. After several emails, phone conversations, communicating through email of one of his clients who stated she’s been with him for 5 years now after paying $20,000 and sharing the income and returns she’s made I wired $17,995 from my Chase Business Bank account on 12/10/2021.
After a few days Dave advised my website www.sfsportscasino.com was live and operational. When you would go to this website and clicked “Enter” it would automatically redirect to www.jazzsports.ag which was the online casino/sportsbook based out of Costa Rica. On 12/31/2021 a person by the name of Greg Barrasso tech@onlinecasinobookie.com emailed me stating that 125k emails would go each week starting 12/31/21 for life and that I would receive a report of this data each month. On 01/06/2022 I emailed Greg for any confirmation of these emails going out each and never heard from him.
Shortly after I had wired this $17,995 to WorldWide Marketing Group Inc. I started doing more research on the company and I discovered the name David Rubright, Edward Walters/Ed Walters which yielded in a few different companies as well as horrible reviews on Ripoff Report, the BBB, online gambling forums and saw that these individuals are Scam Artists/Fraudsters who have taken money from individuals without any return over the last 20+ years. I immediately contacted Dave via phone and email and repeatedly requested a refund to be issued based on this discovery, I filed a TC3 report with the FBI, I filed a complaint with the Florida AG, I contacted a law firm, and attempted to reach out to Franchise Gator after seeing this listing/advertisement removed.
