onsale-ecost & MacMall Lost over $100,000 a year builder because of this company! El Segundo California

Let me start by telling you a little about us. We aare a custom Home Theater Dealer for over 24 years.

We have to buy all our electric screens online due to our manufactures that we use don't carry the stock we need.  I ordered a 125" electric projection screen on Ebay from the seller "ecost-onsale" part of Macmall i assume since they are the ones that charged my card. I ordered the screen for a new wedding center we where working on. I ordered it from this company because their ad said it would be delivered 7 days after my order.

I had about 17 days to get it installed. After 10 days I called the company and asked about the tracking number. I was told that they finally got it in their wharehouse and it was being sent. On the 15th day I called again and was told "sorry we had a miss print on our Ebay ad and the price was to low and they could not sell it to me". I said fine can I pay the difference. They then told me that they do not have the screen anymore and that I would be getting my money back.

I can't imagine running my business this way. I was then told that they would call me back and let me know if they could find a replacement. They finally called me back and said they could send me a screen at a higher price and they would overnight it for me. I was desperate and agreed and expected another screen the next day. I finally got the screen 6 days later and it was a completly different format and would not work for my job.

At this point the builder said forget about it and called another Home Theater Company to finish the job. This same Home Theater Company has started another project with this builder that we should be doing. Because of this company, I will never be working with this highend builder again.

Why would this company advertise something on Ebay at the wrong price and still not honor it after they where paid? I would have paid them 3 times more just to get that projector screen than to lose my builder. I guess I have learned a very expensive lesson from ordering from this company. Do not order a thing from this company if you need it for your livley hood. This company does the same thing to alot of people after searching their name on Google.
