Pampered Pups Kennels Puppy Mill Millville, New Jersey

I purchased a 9-week-old, cocker spaniel from Pampered pup kennel.  The staff at pampered pups gave me a package to take home with the puppy including puppy food that they said the dog had been eating for a week.  When we took the puppy home, the dog did not eat the food provided by pampered pups in fact the puppy did not eat hard food at all. Two days later, I took the puppy for his first wellness checkup and the vet was concerned because he should have been around 8lbs and was only 3.3lbs, the puppy also had to go on an antibiotic for vomiting and diarrhea.  When I left the vet I called pampered pups and question about the dogs weight, and they said that the puppy came OH and that two vets have already said the dog was healthy.  I called the vet in OH they stated the puppy was never weighed there and he was only seen there one time for a hernia repair and all his shots were done by the breeder, after that I called the vet in NJ that they use and was told they did not weigh the dog.  Within minutes of calling Papered Pups vet, I received a call from pampered pups asking why I was looking into this so much and I told them it was because of my concerns for my dog as well as the other puppies there not having a healthy weight. I looked into the breeder in OH where the dog came from (Pampered Pup Kennel staff stated they get hundreds of puppies from this breeder-Abe Miller).  If you look at Pampered Pup Kennels website, it will tell you that they get all of their puppies from USDA inspected and approved kennels but what they leave out is that Abe Miller lost his USDA license number in June of 2009 and in the same month reapplied under the name Abe Miller LLC. His new License number is 31-B-0156 if you look into his USDA number you can find he still has multiple complaints against him.  There are also several sites and news articles you can find him for puppy mills and puppy auctions.  I called the number on my dogs paperwork for Abe Miller and he told me it was the wrong number I was later told by Pampered Pups staff he is choosing not to deal with this and does not wish to speak to you.
